[Miller waits until most of the investigation of floor two seems to have concluded. That way he won't be interfering with much with the request. But he feels that it must be made.]

Both for health reasons and as a gesture of respect, I'm wondering if anyone would be willing to help cremate the remains. Individual or mass graves aren't really options we have time for, and I think they shouldn't just be left here.

[This place shouldn't be their tomb.]

If someone else comes in search of them, we can leave an account of finding them as well as whatever identification cards they had on them.

I'd rather not leave them around to rot.

I am not sure what exactly I could offer for help, aside from helping move the bodies, but I agree that they should not be left.

Helping move them would be enough. Once they're outside at a safe distance, the cremation would be simple.

That will do. Moving them won't be easy anyway. They're in bad shape, so any little bit of help is valuable.

The easiest way is putting them in a pac-disk. Barring that, body bags or makeshift stretchers.

Maybe they have their personal information stored up somewhere if they're not on their person. On one of the computers maybe.

This is a pretty big mess all around. I'm more concerned about what happened to those settlements now. It seems likely whatever happened to them could be connected to this.

There's a few other people offering to help with the fire. Maybe they can function as safety crew. Same with the people that are offering to move things.

Someone recommend using one of the Pac-disks, too. That would make moving them easier.

I appreciate it. [And he's happy Dorian pretty much always has his back on these things.] There are a lot of people that can help. And I'd rather there be more than one around. A safety crew is always useful, in case things get out of hand.

I was hoping to preserve some of their personal effects.

[He knows that she has too much experience with dead bodies for a girl her age. Her world hasn't been kind to her. But in this case, it might be a help. There will always be something grating about asking a kid to do things like this, but she's probably got a better eye for it than most of the adults.]

If we get you some protective clothes and a gas mask, think you can help me check them?

I think we've got it mostly covered. But I'll let you know. Every bit of back-up I appreciate. As of now, we don't who what happened to these people. [Who he's sure of more than what, just because of nothing being taken from the bodies that they can tell.] Or if they're gone.
