[ Jesse watches Andyr making his way into his tent, drawing his knees a little tighter to his chest. Every time he sees Andyr, Jesse's mind flashes back to seeing Andyr sprawled in the dark corridor of the Moira with his back split open, blood everywhere, Andyr's gut-wrenching, agonised screams tearing down the long hallway. It haunts him. Maybe it will never stop haunting him.

Realising he is chewing his lip while his mind turns over that awful memory, he relaxes into a lopsided grin of his own once Andyr has plopped down on the ground opposite him. ]

Aw, man. You pussy.

[ Grin widening. He's actually really glad to see Andyr. ]

[deconstruct]

[ a snorted laugh erupts from him, and andyr stretches out a foot to push at one of jesse's folded up knees, in the way you might give someone a punch on the shoulder. ]

Seriously? Still talking shit?

[ andyr shakes his head, tugging his own legs up to his chest to loosely prop his arms on his knees, while he chuckles a bit more. ]

You know I could probably put your scrawny ass through a tree, right?

[ It's a laughing response, totally smartassed and kind of delighted to be able to joke around with someone like this. It's almost like he and Andyr are old friends in a weird way. It's a nice change from how isolating being so far away from anything familiar can be.

As for what Andyr goes to say, though...

Jesse leans forward, narrowing his eyes in skepticism. It's done comically, because Jesse is still messing around. ]

Oh, yeah? Who's talking shit now?

[ Actually, with how fucking built and ripped Andyr is... Jesse is almost inclined to believe him. ]

[ fun fact: he can definitely put jesse through a tree, and a concrete wall, and put a nice dent in a metal one. however, that would require his biological make up to not be dampened down to normal human levels, as it currently is.

it doesn't stop andyr grom grinning wolfishly, like he's in on an obvious joke that jesse isn't. ]

Remind me we had this talk once we're out of this dead zone.

[ so he can put your skinny butt through a tree. ]

[ Jesse studies that wolfish grin. Man, who knows what Andyr is actually capable of. With his ports in his back and whatever genetic modifications or whatever the guy has been wrung through. ]

Think I'll pass. Maybe you can demonstrate your tree demolishing skills on some other skinny asshole.
