I was attacked by a predatory animal and nearly froze to death during one incident. Almost drowned another time. And I've been hunted and shot at more times than I care to remember.
We're stranded and trying to keep going, but at least most of us are unhurt and nothing's trying to eat us or attack us so far. I hope it stays that way.
It's just always been my nature. I don't really know why...it just always felt better to find the good in things and people. And maybe it's also what's kept me going through some of the rough times I've had back home. Sometimes, it's the only way to keep the dark times from getting overwhelming. To try and find a light in the middle of it.
