Hello
Even with the contract I signed, this is a lot to process. Even after all I've seen in my life, time travel is kind of shocking to me. I keep wondering who else could be here. And how my age has been altered.
Anyway, my name is Luke. Luke Skywalker. I look like a boy right now, but I'm really an adult. I'm a little out of sorts right now, but I will help any way I can to make things better while I'm here.

But this is definitely a first.]
Uh...okay. Back up the truck a second here.
[Her accent is decidedly American, and she looks like she's wearing about an inch-thick of makeup.]
Explain the part where you're not actually a little boy?
Re: [VIDEO]
[He isn't surprised that some might find it hard to believe.]
I'm 48 years old...I have a wife and a son. But when I stepped through the...what do you call it? Ingress...I found myself like this. I'm just hoping it isn't permanent.
I dunno.
When I came through the Ingress, it took half of my stuff. I still haven't gotten any of it back.
Re: [VIDEO]
I just hope I don't have to explain it all to my wife. Or my brother-in-law. I love him and my sister dearly, but he likes teasing me at times. He'll never let me hear the end of it...
I...could see how that would be awkward.
[And hilarious.]
Uh...so your name is Luke? That sounds like a name from my country.
Where you from?
Re: [VIDEO]
Originally, I'm from the planet Tattooine, but now I spend most of my time between two other planets...Coruscant and Yavin IV. I think I've heard of countries, but it isn't very common where I'm from. I think the closest we have is the...well, now it's the Galactic Alliance of Free Systems. It's kind of a interplanetary government.
[Coruscant, though? That sounds weirdly familiar. But Fatima can't place it. There's too much garbled noise up in her head from over two years of travel.
She'll check her notes later.]
I'm from Earth. Name's Fatima. Fatima Merali.
Re: [VIDEO]
I don't think I've heard of Earth. But the universe is a big place. I'm not even sure of what all is in my home galaxy..
How are things with this group? It looks a little rough, with the crash and all, but I think as long as everyone works together, we'll be all right.
I'm sorry. You're...48?
[Because she's having a hard time swallowing that. No one has that kind of optimism. No one over the age of, like, three.]
Re: [VIDEO]
[He's surmising she probably wonders why he's still so upbeat. It's just who he is, mostly.]
I've just always been a natural optimist. I do get teased about it at times, I'll say that.
[He can't recall how many times he's heard "optimism is your specialty, farmboy, not mine." from Mara.]
In the meanwhile, Fatima takes a breath.
Benefit of the doubt, benefit of the doubt, benefit of the doubt...]
Well. Um. Our ship, the Moira, crashed here. There isn't the best chain of command happening. People just tend to be sticking with their friends, I guess?
Re: [VIDEO]
Or almost always.
I'm still grappling with the apparent time travel...seeing faces I thought I never would again.
[Lucky kid. Er...old man?]
That happens sometimes. In the multiverse.
That's what we call it.
Re: [VIDEO]
I guess I'll have to get used to it, but it's just a shock.
I don't think I've heard that term before...multiverse. Interesting.

Re: [VIDEO]
If it's more unpredictable than my life at home, it must really be strange here.
Have you ever turned into a small child at home?
