[No video this time, and Ratchet's voice sounds a little ragged over the feed.]

Public service announcement--if anyone knows, or knows of, the Cybertronian called Tarn, you might have heard about his ability to damage or even kill others with his voice. This is no longer an issue.

[He declines to give anything even vaguely resembling a detailed explanation as to why. He's also well aware that Tarn might be listening, but does not appear to care in the slightest.]

I don't know if it ever worked on organics, mostly because testing it might have involved the subjects being very dead even if Tarn had agreed, but I'd ask any engineers to kindly refrain from repairing his damaged vocalizer in the meantime. He can still communicate, it's not completely busted. If you feel like fixing any of his other injuries, fine, it's your funeral, but he's already committed murder once on this ship and the fewer weapons he has, the better.

...just wanted to let people know there's one less thing to worry about. It's not news we hear often around here, I'm finding.

Tarn showed up in the medbay looking to harass Riptide some more. I intervened. It was stupid. That's it.

[ Whirl clacks his claws ready to hear, and then when he realizes what exactly happened, Whirl's optic narrows suddenly, and then his plating flares, 0-60 in 3.5 thy name is Whirl. ]

You get I can keep him alive and make him never a problem again, right? I can do that.

Cause, I've got a lot of ideas. Loads and loads of them. Really good ones.

[Ratchet's voice is firm.]

He got in one good hit to my face, smashed my windscreen, dented the claws and slammed me into a wall, but honestly, most of the damage is cosmetic. His vocalizer is all but wrecked, he can barely talk, and his stupid mask is a mess, but honestly, I think I mostly embarrassed him. He was dragging his feet when he left, anyway, and I don't think he'll be a problem for a while.

[ Whirl looks like he's a little stuck for a moment. Mostly between wanting to say that's really cool and get angry about the fact that Tarn decided to toddle off to the medbay and break things. He's clearly agitated, bits of flight gear, along with his rotos and claws moving restlessly, but the fact that Tarn's tail's between his legs at least seems to calm him...a little bit. He's not actively trying to convince Ratchet to let him torture Tarn. So there's that. ]]

....If he shows his stupid con face near the bay again I'm gonna peel his plating. With my claws.

I'm fine. Riptide's... mostly fine--it's him Tarn was trying to hurt, I think, I just got in the way. Don't worry about it, all right?
