I am Zevran, or Zev to my friends. It seems we will be together for some time, and I'll be cooking for you. [Ohhhhh boy who put an assassin in the kitchen and thought this was a good idea?]

Might as well be friendly, yes? I have been told we are all from different places. How exciting. I wonder if you all could tell me something about your world. I'm curious. I'll start, how about that?

I am from Thedas. Where Humans, Elves, Dwarfs and Qunari live-- there maybe others from my world here, I haven't had the chance to look yet. Anyways, I am from the country Antiva, home of the finest wine in the world, which I could really use some of that right now. If anyone knows where there is a bar it would be much appreciated.

[He says that last part with smirk.]

So tell me, what's your world like?

[This is... an elf, although one he does not recognize. The mention of Thedas has him on edge. With everything else so foreign, he's not sure how to approach another of his own kind. In the past it would have been only indifference.]

Mine is the same.

[Well, still indifference. They may as well get this out of the way; they are bound to encounter each other at some point.]

[At least this elf doesn't assume friendliness due to their lineage alone. Merrill learned that lesson.]

I am not fond of it. [He can be honest. Looking out a window makes him wildly uncomfortable.] You are from Antiva? That is not a country I've seen.

[He smiles proudly at that before his eyes narrow at the screen.]

From your accent, let me guess...Tevinter?

Formerly. I left many years ago.

[Who gave you permission to guess his nationality? Mention of Tevinter puts him in a bad mood (he's easily triggered, okay).]

Is that a significant skill of yours? Determining the origin of accents?

I have an ear for accents.

[More like he is trained to be noticeable of things like that, just like he notices that slight change in attitude.]

That and I have been in muddy Ferelden for weeks, so it's nice to hear something other than that southern drawl.

[Bucky gets to the room and stands outside the door, unsure if he should go in. Or knock. He doesn't know.

All he knows is that he'd made a post looking for Steve and a bunch of other hims had shown up. It's too much.]

Antiva to Ferelden? That is quite a distance. [Convenient subject change.] Although I suppose our current location is far beyond even the south.

How do you find all of this space?

[Since Zevran asked him first.]

What can I say? I enjoy travel.

[He glances out of the closest window when he is asked that. He isn't sure how he feels about it honestly.]

This might be a little much for me though. [He certainly didn't sign up for this when he took that job to kill a couple of wardens.] Nothing a drink can't fix though.

[Oh. He actually came. He hopes he didn't bring the whole party with him, espeically since his daggers have been misplaced since arriving. He hopes the door though, and after making sure he is alone he steps back to let him in.]

[He may not know Bucky, but he knows to except something with this man. He has him on edge, but he hides it with a smile.]

Well, you are here now. [He goes back inside of his room to pull on the boots that he was given by the crew. He doesn't exactly like the thermals but they are warmer than what he had.]

And I dunno about you, but I could use a drink.

I'm from Kirkwall, home of blood mages, overly determined Templars, and Qunari that rampage and sometimes I dream of vacations in Antiva.

Qunari rampages? That sounds fun. [Another!!! Well, this is starting to feel more and more like home.]

It's quite the place I recommend it. How long have you been away from Kirkwall?

The most fun I've ever had. My favorite part is where they stab you with a spear. A really big spear, in fact.

[Though she doesn't quite look like she's from Thedas. She's ditched the armor and now wears a simple loose t-shirt and black leggings.]

Six months that I remember and a year that I don't. It's a complicated story.

Complicated stories are more often the best ones.

[And he is interested in hearing this one.]

We crash landed on an island where there was a secret temple in the middle. The kind and rather unfortunate looking hosts threw us a party. We ate and drank and danced and then suddenly a year had gone by once we left even though it only felt like a few days.

So you drank and partied for a year?

[Damm. He could really use that right now.]

Any chance I can convince the captains to go back there?

[otiosity]

None whatsoever!

Besides I think everyone else would probably band together and toss you out of the airlock to prevent it.

[That gets a laugh out of him.]

What? Besides the year part it doesn't sound all that terrible, but I guess I'll keep quiet about it then.

Does that normally happen around here?

[It seems like a dumb question, now that he's asked it, but Bucky's never been in space before. Hard to imagine what might be up here. Bucky's eyes flick down the boots and he realizes he doesn't even have shoes on yet. It's not important.]

Alcohol, I mean.

Well, there was the whole crashing part which was a bit traumatic. And a bad way to find out you get really ill in escape pods.

Crashing, no. Landings, yes. But never any place that's ever the same as the rest.

[He shrugs as he stands back up, pulling his hair into a ponytail to keep it out of his face.]

I would think. The kitchens at least should have something-- unless they cook like Fereldens then we are all doomed.

[Bucky's eyes flick to Zevran's hair, fair and golden in even in the dim ship lighting. He looks away and turns back to the door. He really shouldn't be watching him get dressed, even if it is only shoes.]

What are Fereldens?

[He was right though, there should be something in the kitchen.]

A drink may be scarce. I have yet to find one of quality myself, at least available to the general public.

[He survived on the Hanged Man for years, but even then he had a secret store in the mansion. This will be a challenge.]

I have traveled some. Though I have not gone further south than the Free Marches, and Kirkwall is where I stayed the duration.
