Hello? Hello?
[Is this odd looking sending crystal on? He hopes so, or else he must look very silly holding this thing to his face and talking to nothing.]
Greetings, fellow captives. [He says with the most charming smile.]
I am Zevran, or Zev to my friends. It seems we will be together for some time, and I'll be cooking for you. [Ohhhhh boy who put an assassin in the kitchen and thought this was a good idea?]
Might as well be friendly, yes? I have been told we are all from different places. How exciting. I wonder if you all could tell me something about your world. I'm curious. I'll start, how about that?
I am from Thedas. Where Humans, Elves, Dwarfs and Qunari live-- there maybe others from my world here, I haven't had the chance to look yet. Anyways, I am from the country Antiva, home of the finest wine in the world, which I could really use some of that right now. If anyone knows where there is a bar it would be much appreciated.
[He says that last part with smirk.]
So tell me, what's your world like?

text then action
[Bucky gets to the room and stands outside the door, unsure if he should go in. Or knock. He doesn't know.
All he knows is that he'd made a post looking for Steve and a bunch of other hims had shown up. It's too much.]
no subject
Glad to see you didn't bring the party with you.
no subject
[But they don't know each other. This man doesn't know what to expect of Bucky.]
I didn't know where to go.
no subject
Well, you are here now. [He goes back inside of his room to pull on the boots that he was given by the crew. He doesn't exactly like the thermals but they are warmer than what he had.]
And I dunno about you, but I could use a drink.
no subject
[It seems like a dumb question, now that he's asked it, but Bucky's never been in space before. Hard to imagine what might be up here. Bucky's eyes flick down the boots and he realizes he doesn't even have shoes on yet. It's not important.]
Alcohol, I mean.
no subject
I would think. The kitchens at least should have something-- unless they cook like Fereldens then we are all doomed.
no subject
What are Fereldens?
[He was right though, there should be something in the kitchen.]
no subject
[But thats just his opinion. Ask a Ferelden and they will argue the food part-- but they all know they love dogs. When he is ready he heads to the door first and opens it again, his arm out for Bucky to leave first.]
Do you know how to get there? Or shall we do some exploring first?
no subject
You like cats?
[An important question, obviously. He steps out into the hall, lifting his opposite hand to show Zevran the MID.]
There's a map on here.
no subject
[That's an odd question. He lifts his hand to the MID. He really needs to familiaze himself with this this.]
I don't mind them. I've never had a pet before.
[He says this as his fingers poke and the MID beeps. He has no idea what he is doing.]
no subject
I have one. A cat.
[He glances down at the MID, leans in a little to see what Zevran is doing.]
Have you used one of these before?
no subject
[He was about to make a comment on how lucky Bucky was that the animal didn't get lost to space like his daggers and boots did. But then he looks down and notices that Bucky is barefoot as well.]
No, this magic is foreign to me. A question if I may, did you lose anything when you arrived?
no subject
[Bucky says it seriously, no hint of teasing or joking in his voice. Considering all that he's been through and everything this place is, he doesn't think that's so strange anymore.]
Here. [He drags his fingers across the MID, tapping until he gets to the map.] My shoes and shirt. Did you lose anything?
no subject
Thanks. [He stares at the map for a moment. At least the kitchen should be easier to find now.] Two daggers and my boots.
[Uhg...his poor leather boots. He looks down at the ones on his feet now. They definitely aren't the same.] I've down graded severely.
no subject
They're not so bad.
[Bucky smiles, slight, mouth curved up on one side.]
Tell me about where you're from.
[That's something that they can compare. See what matches and what's different.]
no subject
[His poor boots.]
Originally I'm from Antiva City in Antiva. It's a big trading port, ships coming in and out all the time. Very busy place. Known for their leather and their wine.
[Ah home...he's getting wistful already.]
But when I was taken, I was in Ferleden. A county to the south on business.
no subject
Not familiar. [With any of those places. He's not surprised.] What business?
[He has no right to know and he wouldn't be upset if the other decided not to tell him. Bucky's suspicious of everyone, doesn't trust easily, but it's more than that, he can't learn to trust anyone or make friends if he doesn't try.
Though, there's something he wants to know more.]
Are everyone's ears the same as yours?
[The markings, too.]
no subject
[It's so casual. Like he actually said he is a salesman or something. He quickly looks forward again as they head down the hall.]
No, I'm an elf. Qunari have pointed ears as well but they have horns.
no subject
Most people wouldn’t admit that.
[He glances over, and almost smiles when Zevran says elf. It sounds like something out of a story, but Wonderland has desensitized him slightly.]
I’ve never met an elf before.
no subject
[People feared him when he said he was a Crow. They no longer looked down on him or saw him as only an elf. He was important as a Crow, even if the organization he serves sees him as little less than a blade to be handled.]
Well, glad I'm the first your meeting them. Not all of us are as great as I am.
no subject
[For personal safety and to keep the organization from having weak spots. It's clear they come from different worlds, and Bucky doesn't know what it'd be like to live in a world where what he did was public knowledge. Something to be proud of, even.]
Nobody knows. You're a ghost.
[His mouth quirks, shoulders relaxing.]
Is that so?
no subject
[All those adventures, and no one to tell them too? He couldn't imagine. He grins when he sees him relax.]
Best I've ever met.
[He might be just a little full of himself. He comes to a pause as his MID starts to beep. The map says they have reached just outside of the kitchens.] I guess this is it.
no subject
Let's find out.
[He pushes the door open. There's cabinets and doors and shelves. Bound to be something somewhere.]
I'll take this side.
[He crouches down and starts opening things up, reaching in to move boxes and bottles around.]
no subject
He doesn't recognize any of these words, brands, or even logos. He thought that being in space they might have at least one thing from his world. He pulls out a strange deep purple, nearly red liquid that when he opens the bottle smells of brandy. It's something, what he isn't sure.]
Jackpot? [He questions as he holds the bottle to the light on the ceiling.] Maybe, it's something.
no subject
It's getting way ahead of things, he knows, but it's a thought he can't get out of his head.
That doesn't stop him from turning around to watch him as he climbs up on the counter, muscles in Zevran's back and shoulders moving under his clothes as he stretches and reaches. He's strong, gracefully so, and Bucky's still watching as he lifts the bottle.]
Only one way to find out.
