I am Zevran, or Zev to my friends. It seems we will be together for some time, and I'll be cooking for you. [Ohhhhh boy who put an assassin in the kitchen and thought this was a good idea?]

Might as well be friendly, yes? I have been told we are all from different places. How exciting. I wonder if you all could tell me something about your world. I'm curious. I'll start, how about that?

I am from Thedas. Where Humans, Elves, Dwarfs and Qunari live-- there maybe others from my world here, I haven't had the chance to look yet. Anyways, I am from the country Antiva, home of the finest wine in the world, which I could really use some of that right now. If anyone knows where there is a bar it would be much appreciated.

[He says that last part with smirk.]

[At least this elf doesn't assume friendliness due to their lineage alone. Merrill learned that lesson.]

I am not fond of it. [He can be honest. Looking out a window makes him wildly uncomfortable.] You are from Antiva? That is not a country I've seen.

[He smiles proudly at that before his eyes narrow at the screen.]

From your accent, let me guess...Tevinter?

[lethen]

Formerly. I left many years ago.

[Who gave you permission to guess his nationality? Mention of Tevinter puts him in a bad mood (he's easily triggered, okay).]

Is that a significant skill of yours? Determining the origin of accents?

[crowkiller]

I have an ear for accents.

[More like he is trained to be noticeable of things like that, just like he notices that slight change in attitude.]

That and I have been in muddy Ferelden for weeks, so it's nice to hear something other than that southern drawl.

[lethen]

Antiva to Ferelden? That is quite a distance. [Convenient subject change.] Although I suppose our current location is far beyond even the south.

How do you find all of this space?

[Since Zevran asked him first.]

What can I say? I enjoy travel.

[He glances out of the closest window when he is asked that. He isn't sure how he feels about it honestly.]

This might be a little much for me though. [He certainly didn't sign up for this when he took that job to kill a couple of wardens.] Nothing a drink can't fix though.

A drink may be scarce. I have yet to find one of quality myself, at least available to the general public.

[He survived on the Hanged Man for years, but even then he had a secret store in the mansion. This will be a challenge.]

I have traveled some. Though I have not gone further south than the Free Marches, and Kirkwall is where I stayed the duration.

I'm checking around now.

[Maybe he will let the other know if he finds anything. Maybe.]

The Marches are closer to home, I'd rather be there then in a swamp. Do you enjoy it there?

I doubt it is a matter of enjoyment. Regardless, if we are returned, I will have to leave Kirkwall.

[How best to explain this? He remembers the discussion on timelines, and it still puzzles him.]

When you were in Thedas, do you remember the year?

[An odd question...but then he remembers what he was told. Things might not back for others back home.]

It isn't. You are nearly a decade behind where I come from.

[And even further behind the Tevinter. Sadly Fenris is not as verbose, so his explanation is a lot faster.]

A mage I was unfortunately associated with caused the destruction of a Chantry in Kirkwall. I am told it has triggered war.

[crowkiller]

A decade?

[That shakes him a little more than it should. For a moment he wonders if he is even around still around. No point in asking, he doesn't know this man and he doubts the same.]

So we survive the Darkspawn, only to go to war with magic?

[lethen]

It would seem peace is a difficult demand to make of Thedas. Did you have experience fighting the Darkspawn?

[crowkiller]

Not yet. I just met with the last Grey Wardens in the country. They were on their way to the Deep Roads, I'm sure I would have found something there.

[lethen]

[How strange, that if Fenris knew this individual better he might even know his fate. Too bad he's never studied history.]

If you do return to fight, then I suppose I wish you the best. I have seen the Deep Roads once. It was... an unpleasant experience. We have the magisters to thank for that.

Honestly I'm fine right here for now.

[Until it gets boring, too much, or fate seems to think he is too comfortable.]

I wasn't exactly looking forward to it.

I can't imagine most would.
