[First there was the fact that he even woke up alive. Not to mention in one piece. Then the contract thrust at him by people he didn't know. But the final straw was what felt like an insult on top of everything.

Sanitation duties. He had enough of having to do the crappiest jobs before the war, for the Council. He refuses to be treated like that, and forced to do the same again now. For a crew he doesn't know at all.

So it's with that, that he addresses the network. Looking none too pleased. Not that he ever looks that pleased. He's not big on the idea of using this device, but he's insulted enough to use it this once.]

I may be stuck on this ship, but I will not be cleaning up your messes while I'm here. [His long tail can be seen flicking in the background of the video.]

I am not a waste disposal unit. You can clean up your own messes.

[And with that, he turns off the feed. Screw you all, and your so called jobs.]

[He huffs, and takes several vents before he looks up again.]

Skids, and myself.

[He can feel his spark casing bottom out. Not only was this confirmation that Ravage's fate was sealed, but Skids?]

[He places his hand over his face as he attempts to process it.]

[How stupid of him. How stupid of him to dare to hope that maybe, just maybe, they would all manage to survive this. That they would make it off the Necrobot's world, find the Lost Light, bring Getaway to justice, and resume their quest.]

[Peacetime made him forget that things rarely wrapped up in such a neat little package.]

[When he speaks again, his voice is hushed. Almost afraid of what the answers were.]

How did it happen...?

[He's silent as he watches Magnus, and picking up on the changes in his scent.]

You knew, didn't you?

[Maybe not all of it, but he knew something. Enough to get a reaction like that out of him. His tail twitches as he lowers his head some, again, and considers.]

After that group hug, [That he probably some how got dragged into. You Autobots and your touchy feeliness before battle.] Velocity brought up a theory about Tailgate's spark spasm, and how it gave him and the guards more powers. How if we had the same it would help us against the DJD. Skids stepped forward, and offered, wanting to help the fight. He convinced Chromedome to help him with his memories, and he spasm'd.

He was taken to the medbay. The rest of us, [Yes, him included.] minus Megatron and Ratchet went out to fight the DJD. We were making some headway, but their numbers were great. During the battle, Tarn chased me down. [He actually grimaces at the thought of this bit. The pain still pretty fresh.] He managed to grab me, and tore me in half.

I blacked out, with the battle still going on. Next thing I know, Megatron was at my side, with the fusion canon, and was killing the army. He picked me up, [He lifts a paw and motions at the front half of himself.] and handed me off to Rodimus. He ordered him, you and the others to take me and go back to the fortress, while he dealt with Tarn, Overlord and their army.

We...had our suspicions. About you. Skids is new knowledge.

[His responses are curt to keep his voice from betraying the level of sadness he feels right now. Skids sacrificed himself. Skids sacrificed himself to give everyone a chance to live. And apparently they almost all had.]

[If there were ever an Autobot that lived up to the code that he held so dearly, he doesn't think he's ever met them, save for Prime himself.]

Forgive me, Ravage. I need a moment to process this.

[More like a moment to kick himself internally. Skids gave his life so that they could all fight. So that they could win the day, survive, and continue on. He'd survived the war, and for what? To be betrayed in peacetime? By friends he spent the war fighting beside?]

[Magnus spark hummed in mixed emotions. Somehow, the mutiny seemed less severe as long as the possibility of survival was there. But now, there was a body count. Now, there were casualties. So now the loss of a friend forever is compounded with the loss of trust for the majority of his crew.]

I see.

[He's silent as he regards him. He can understand it. That final battle was hard enough for them to go through. He experienced it. But apparently Magnus hadn't yet.]

[Because he wasn't done. If anything there was a good ending to the battle. Not that it would make up for the losses.

Ravage didn't get all that close to the crew prior to the mutiny. Even if there had been some he probably begrudgingly considered his friends. Why in the end, he went out on the field and fought along side them, when he could've easily stayed behind. Or even left.

Fighting for your life scenario changes things. Especially when it shows who your real friends are. It hurt him more than he is showing, the wounds still fresh.]

[He considers how to continue, for a bit even after Magnus tells him to continue. Because the battle got complicated fast.

Instead his glances up at Magnus, and tilts his head inquiringly.]

What do you know of the Spacebridge inside Megatron?

[He's trying to determine how much he needs to explain, again.]

Merely that it exists. There was an incident report not long after Megatron joined the crew involving Whirl's arm.

Why?

Yes, the arm that Whirl lost to him a year ago. That arm, and the spacebridge, played a significant role in the out come of the fight. [He's choosing his words carefully.]

Megatron spent half the war trying to establish a link to a black hole, through the space bridge. So he could mine Antimatter from a safe distance. But he failed in all attempts. Until he swallowed Whirl's arm. He used that arm as an anchoring point, knowing that if he could retrieve it, he could make the black hole work both ways. But he was never strong enough to pull it out. Tailgate's spark spasm made him wonder if pain was the answer. It seems for this fight, he was right.

At some point while we were battling, Megatron spat the arm back out, enabling him to siphon Antimatter. He used the Antimatter to take out Tarn and the DJD once and for all.

He's been...He's been what?

He did what??

Why? For what purpose would he...?

[There's some reluctance as he repeats words he said no that long ago. To the Autobots. He's going to assume Magnus is talking about the Antimatter.]

You Autobots never took the time to truly understand him, or how he operates. Even after he became apart of the crew. He thinks ten steps ahead. Every eventuality is prepared for, along with contingency plans.

Why did he do it? Likely incase something like this were to happen.

Understand him, I mean.

[He tilts his head.]

How much did you learn?

[It's not sarcasm, he genuinely is curious.]

That he is more than what he made himself appear to be. That he wishes to guide and not necessarily lead.

I think, that if things wound up differently, he would have made an excellent teacher.

Perhaps I underestimated how well you know him, then. [Which he's a little reluctant to admit. But it's the truth. Not many of the others seemed to know him this well, Or maybe it as the situation.]

Back when he was a miner, he wrote. To inspire others, even at the risk of being found out. [Writings that were quite popular.]

Mm, and he did teach classes on the Lost Light.

We've...talked.

Well, I shouldn't say that. He's talked. I've listened. Watched. It helped having defended him on Luna 2, during his trial. I got to know him better as a person. His reasons.

I'm familiar with "Towards Peace." I've never had the opportunity to read it, myself.
