Hi all, just some quick housekeeping:

• I've doubled the security on the Mako. Fair warning: any attempts to hack its console will result in consequences. This is not a challenge! If you need it for anything, please get in touch with me first.
  
  
• It seems I'm your new Assistant Head of Tower duties, with Ryuuzaki functioning as our Head. I'm looking forward to working with all of you from here on out.
  
  
• I've already spoken with Ryuuzaki regarding my transfer from Engineering to Assistant Head of Tower duties, but I still haven't managed to locate how I was approved and placed in the role in the first place, as it was an application process. If anyone has an idea, please let me know.
  
  
• I was absent for a month in cryosleep, so my apologies for not being completely abreast of every on-board situation for the time being. Unfortunately, I have nothing new to add to cryosleep: I don't know what brought it on, I didn't go anywhere, and I don't know what stopped it.

Almost. But it's my own fault. I never suspected the Moira would be overrun with sticky fingers.

There needs to be better security in Cargo and Docking as it is. There is a lot of violence that breaks out there.

Any wide space is going to draw it, but especially any out of watchful eye.

And I heard you're in the perfect position to start deploying that security. Congratulations on the promotion, despite extenuating circumstances!

I have to find out what current security is in different areas, investigate past incidents before I can take some real action. Shouldn't be long, though. I think most people on board have been itching for something to do.

Agreed. It'll be nice to get some solid routine and roles in place beyond cleaning and mess duties. I doubt you'll need a hand, but don't be a stranger — let Tower know where we can help.

No worries. I'm a firm believer on calling on each other's strengths and specialties, that's why I always made a point of including it in soldier information back home. I'll remember to call on people.

Sounds good to me. I'm honestly looking forward to seeing how things function.

How have things been, other than a return to career?

As well as can be expected when you are in a place that can't decide what age you should be.

Shockingly age-shenanigan free. Maybe the cryo stay preservatives spared me any further punishment.

I take it you weren't so lucky?

No, but thankfully I was spared any significant embarrassment.

At least it points out some other holes in our defenses. Your ship being an unfortunate example.

Absolutely. Hell, this warning should even weed out the last of the challengers. Find out if there's any more.
