Hi all, just some quick housekeeping:

• I've doubled the security on the Mako. Fair warning: any attempts to hack its console will result in consequences. This is not a challenge! If you need it for anything, please get in touch with me first.
  
  
• It seems I'm your new Assistant Head of Tower duties, with Ryuuzaki functioning as our Head. I'm looking forward to working with all of you from here on out.
  
  
• I've already spoken with Ryuuzaki regarding my transfer from Engineering to Assistant Head of Tower duties, but I still haven't managed to locate how I was approved and placed in the role in the first place, as it was an application process. If anyone has an idea, please let me know.
  
  
• I was absent for a month in cryosleep, so my apologies for not being completely abreast of every on-board situation for the time being. Unfortunately, I have nothing new to add to cryosleep: I don't know what brought it on, I didn't go anywhere, and I don't know what stopped it.

To all crew old and new, feel free to message me with questions at any time, or stop by Mero Deck #022 for a chat. Or while the doors are still portaling, walk through my room unexpectedly.

Uh-huh. A kidnapping...with an application process. [She is all over you, Shep. cough not really]

You were getting good, though! You haven't blown anything up, flipped it off a mountain or started a fight with it.

Ha ha ha. [It's dry, but there's clear humor behind it. The shade, the shade of it all.] Don't count your Salarians before they hatch, Tali — there's still plenty of time yet for my circuitry to short out and explode something.

Don't worry, I'll keep a close eye on everything. Right here, where you left me. [Yeah, smiling doesn't make betrayal sound very convincing.]

Do you ever get denied because you have too much experience? Heard it can be a hazard of the overly qualified applicant.

Nobody else I'd rather keep an eye on my things. Don't worry, though — I'll be down to visit now and then. Got to keep the gang together, and Stark owes me at least two drinks, maybe three.

It's not happened yet, but we'll see. I've heard this industry's not very picky about their applicants.

I would tell you that Tony's abandoned me as well, but if there's anybody who would still spend half his time with the engines after being moved out, it's him. Both of them.

[She goes to comment on something else, but pauses when she opens her mouth. Wait.]

Both of them? Two Tony Starks?

Do we even have stowage space on board for that much ego?

[She snorts. She wouldn't have thought it possible, but the ship's managing it!] Two Tony Starks. They were both in Engineering, but now they're department heads of the Ingress. You got to be in cryo and miss the two of them down here together.

I can't believe this. [That she missed them, that is. The fireworks, both metaphorical and literal, must be incredible.]

On the other hand, if anyone can take the Ingress apart and put it back together, working, it's two Starks, you, and Nihlus.

[She grins.] Thanks for the vote of confidence. I might be busier on the engines most of the time, but I can help out. If they ask nicely.

Actually, I haven't really spoken much to the new Tony yet. Maybe he's the humble, modest, friendly version.

[She's not laughing, honest.]

I don't know — upgrades can kill a working system. We should probably stick with Tony one-point-oh until the new version has a chance to iron out all its bugs.
