Ever feel like you were going to have a great day only to actually have the day go down the drain? A guy comes back from the dead and would like to live in relative peace, you know?

At this point I'm ready to throw my hands up in the air and let Primus take the wheel because I certainly have no control over my life.

Several things guys and I don't feel up to messaging you all individually so here we go.

Ratchet: I know we're on to hang out, but I kind of need you to pick me up. Otherwise? Have I told you lately that you're my favorite medic in all the universe?

Rodimus and Megatron: Need to talk to you guys about something important. Actually, I need to have a talk with just Megs too, but also a separate conversation with both of you. Privately.

Starscream: I don't care which one, but I need a favor and the sooner one of you loudmouths can do it, the better.

[ more weak chuckling? more weak chuckling. ]

And it was the scientist Starscream. Not greasy politician Starscream.

I feel like the 'greasy' descriptor still applies, in his case.

[Is somebody still salty that somebody else went through his tools while he was dead? Maybe.]

Bee, just... be careful, all right? I'm going to do what repairs I can with the tools and materials I have and keep checking up on your self-repair as it heals, but I don't have a full medbay here. I can't just... fix things like I used to, all right?

Maybe a little... But not in the same ways.

[ Bee respects him. just a little more. not much, but enough. ]

I can't promise that I won't get hurt again. You know that. But I'll try my best to tone down any impulses I might have, okay?

[asafepairofhands]

No... I know.

[He gets to his quarters and awkwardly keys them open, laying Bee out on a slab and rubbing a mostly steady hand over his face, the corners of his mouth tight. He reaches down and keeps working anyway.]

Just be careful, please. ...you might actually need that cane again, for a bit, at least until your self-repair can do a some of the work I can't.

[ Bee's optics watch Ratchet earnestly. something isn't quite what it seems, even as Bee does his best to be a good patient. ]

Whatever the doc says. I don't want to incur your wrath further.

First smart thing you've said since I got to you.

[Ratchet's mostly just muttering for effect as he works, only slightly slower than normal. His palms ache but he doesn't stop to rub them and he refuses to let it show on his face.]

[ slower than normal. still noticeable. yet there are about a hundred explanations for that, so Bee doesn't think anything of it. at least not in this instance. besides, he doesn't want to break the medic's concentration. ]

Aurgh I --

[Starscream had bust through the door but completely stopped upon seeing Bumblebee there. He immediately forgot what he was doing or going to say.

Instead he turns right back around and slams the door on his way out.]
