[If in case you don't know Isha, she's pretty much a serial texter. Even if you're about two feet away from her, she's going to text. It's inevitable.

And probably for the best, considering her rising irritation about a very peculiar matter...]

Now, I would start this off by saying something about my vents, my territory, my rules, and so on, but that would be inaccurate. None of this is mine, but it should might as well be by proxy.

That being said.

Here's a rule I would like to impose. It's a very simple rule, really, almost a logical one that even I, a professional lawbreaker, would follow.

Don't put a gun in the vents. I don't care if you're hiding evidence or you're just that paranoid. In fact, I don't even care why you put it there. Keep it out of my vents.

[Just because she's not the biggest fan of this job doesn't mean she has to half-ass it.]

If this happens to be your gun, which I am holding right now, please get it before I decide it's better in more capable hands or in the great vacuum of space. I'm very inept with these things, so you might have to deal with the fact that this may go very wrong in my hands.

Thank you and good day, night, or whatever time it happens to be. You all owe me a coffee or ten for working your vents in this terrible lighting. Q says hello, for those of you who know him. He wanted to end this note nicely.

[And so, 1300 rolls around and Isha is strolling up to their designated meeting point.

She's looking, at least, cool as ever, without any hints of the minor discomfort in having to handle a gun. Isha is really not the biggest fan.]

[ Tex had gotten there early, as she is wont to do, but the sight of an unfamiliar person approaching seems to indicate who she's been waiting on (well, as unfamiliar as anyone is, living in such close quarters on the ship). ]

Didn't figure out who the owner is, huh?

[And she'll just assume this is the one in charge of at least putting it somewhere safer than the vents.]

They'll figure it out, eventually.

If nothing else someone will make a stink about noticing they have a weapon missing and then we'll know.

[ She pulls the keys out and gestures with her head for the woman to follow her to the cabinet. ]

They should've known better than to hide it in the first place in the vents.

[She follows to the cabinet, now wondering who could've possibly put it there in the first place. She could go through the effort of figuring it out, but she doesn't actually care all that much. She just wants it gone.]

It's an interesting choice, isn't it? You might as well just lay it on the floor, for as much security as doing that gives you.

[ But easy as a thought, the weapon is locked up tight in the cabinet. Tex turns and slips the keys back in her pocket. ]
