Hellooooo Moira! This is DJ Lúcio comin' at you live from the Moira's all new radio station based in the Hub! The lovely Mettaton helped me get set with everything and now I'm bringing to you the radio station for the crew, by the crew. Name pending.

[lúcio's speech is punctuated with a few dramatic flourishes. he's ridiculously excited, and it shows.]

Now, what I wanna hear is what you want! I can give you the music, the call outs and the news, but you guys gotta let me know when you wanna come and star to impart some wisdom unto the ship.

I'm not askin' you to do my job for me, but this wouldn't very well be a good radio if it was all from my point of view, would it? [even if he does think he has Good Opinions, lúcio is all about encouraging people to express themselves.] Anyone who wants to contribue anything, temporarily or permanently, give me a call on the MID. I'm taking music requests for the rest of the day, starting off with something that'll make you feel better!

Oh! What kind of music do you have? Do you have any Rogers and Hammersteins, or Lerner and Loewe? [This one's young, 16, blond ponytail. As unlikely as his journey to this point has been, he loves musicals.]

I - I'm not very good at speaking in public, but I need to improve. I'm the fine arts instructor. A radio station would be a great way to reach a lot of people... [And helpful in other ways later on, he would think, but he'll play up the teacher angle right now.]

Most of what I have is what you're hearing now. I'm trying to get other people to bring forward their tracks so we can have a nice variety that'll reach everyone.

[he smiles, easy and calm.]

Don't worry about it, man. We can have sections for you to reach out. Me and Mettaton are usually in the booth, so if you get nervous we'll be there with you. I can always take over and put on a musical interlude if it gets too much.

A-alright, cool! I'll see if I can find any music in the library, and I'll stop by sometime... if I can think of what to say... I don't even really know what constitutes as 'fine art' honestly...

I'm pretty sure that's drawings and such. Like, with pencil! It might be better to do that in a classroom, but you can for sure advertise for it.

What, really? I don't know a thing about that! I guess sometimes I made sketches and maps on the field, but I'm not an artist, I don't have talent in that area at all... [That was Jean.] This is going to take so much research. Maybe I'll use the radio to put out a call for help on curriculum.

You can do that too! I'm afraid I can't really help you on the drawing side of that.

[he can do basic doodles, sure, but anything above that is out of lúcio's league.]

Though I wouldn't doubt that map sketching ability. Some people are gonna want to learn that. I think I might want to, even!

Really? I should think most people would see it as unnecessary with all the technology we have. And that's cartography, not fine arts! I'll keep it in mind, though.

What kind of music do you like best, anyway?

I wouldn't dismiss something that would be so helpful, cartography comes with the ability to accurately read maps, am I right? I've known people who've made it into their 40s without being able to do that!

I'm down for just about anything. As long as it has a beat and means something to someone, then it's a good tune.

Do you like dancing, too?

Yeah! Do you know capoeira?

Capoeira. No, I'm afraid I don't. Can you show me sometime? If it's dancing, I want to know more about it! [Very quietly:] I love dancing.

For sure! It's a kind of dancing. Really intense. I love it, helps wake me up in the morning! Counts as a martial art, too.
