[ He definitely doesn't want other people getting involved, and if he absolutely has to he'll turn so he can defend himself, but he doubts Pierce would be so stupid as to provoke him to that point. More than anything, he's worried about the people he cares about, relatively average people that he could easily get to. Bruce can't let that happen. ]
