[video; locked to: Anakin/Obi-Wan, Ahsoka, Leia, Rey, Ava, Cassandra, and Wanda]
[The video post actually starts off with a kitten walking over the top of it, soft muffled talking with the heavy padding of paws over-foot for a moment, and then a "hey, hey, not right now." It's finally adjusted so Anakin can talk into the MID properly. He's still tired; those circles under his eyes aren't likely to go away any time soon, but it's countered with a small almost-smile. Not sad, not perfect, but present.]
Look, I know with everything the ship's been through in the last week, time is short and expensive. I'll try to keep this brief. With the recent mishandling of hostile situations on-board and with "relations" with our...host planets?
Obi-Wan, what would you even call them?
[As he's here and has ears and common sense, Kenobi is quick to take hold of Anakin's MID and address the network himself, although he's merely... correcting Anakin's word choices, anyway.]
Well, first, I wouldn't say it was mishandled. Nor would I call what came of that as relations. Otherwise, host planet seems just fine.
[Leave it to Kenobi to be pedantic. He smiles thinly into the camera and then disappears back off-screen for for the time being, leaving Skywalker to his pitch.
Anakin rolls his eyes as he takes the camera back.]
Anyway, we've both been thinking. All of you have, at some point or another, expressed pointed interest in what it is we do, and we think it's high time to take advantage of that.
[A pause as he carefully defers back to Obi-Wan. This is skirting new territory that he's not even sure how to press forward with, only that he can't do it alone.]
I think what Anakin is suggesting is that we make good use of our time here. There's no end in sight, so this is the perfect time to take stock in what we know and give credence to what we don't. In this case, the more the merrier.
[It's enough to cover the breadth of what they talked about, and therefore Kenobi feels satisfied in leaving the rest of this in Anakin's hand. Kitten now in tow, he disappears off-screen once more.]
I want to be clear that this isn't an obligation. [Not yet.] I'm--We are not asking you to give anything up, regardless of how the old Order did it. All I'm asking is that you want to help.
[ooc note: being on this filter is no obligation to reply; if you want on the ~Jedi Training~ filter and you're not, let's get that CR rolling otherwise.]

[This is the definition of semantics, but something he sees as necessary. Hard truths, painful truths, are something easier swallowed when the concept isn't steeped in something he's been taught is, at its core, selfish.]
So, "something like that," yes.

[Something sad creeps into her expression - maybe that makes the team name more appropriate but it also feels like they're perpetually giving up before they start. It's never sat well with Wanda. They shouldn't just accept that people are going to get hurt before they fix the problem.]
If we can stop this from happening again, I want to help.

Are there others that might be so dedicated? People you know and trust?

[The last several people who made that kind of promise to her proceeded to break it in the worst ways imaginable, after all. Try will do for now.]
There are people who would help. My brothers, Billy, Steve...but they are not all like me.

[Ultimately, it doesn't matter, but it doesn't slake the curiosity any less.]

I have known people who are better at this than me who aren't...gifted. But that does not sound like this Order.
[Is this meant to be a powered people only club? After being singled out for it, Wanda's not sure how she feels about that. On one hand, it would be nice to be around more people who get it. On the other...any sort of exclusive "club" is asking for more resentment.]

[Though that point had been made moot long before they had ever arrived here. Peacekeepers don't wage wars, and the neutral party isn't meant to take sides. Finding out that the sides had been constructed as a distraction, ands that such a morally compromising war had been fought over ideals that really didn't even exist...it puts things in a different perspective. It casts the Jedi in a starkly different light, one easily fooled and misled, one that shows biased choices made in the named of that deception. Taking sides was deemed appropriate, but love couldn't be?
It really makes him wonder about how much the Order should be a choice, one presented not at childhood when there's no answer to give other than yes, but instead one that meant that the sacrifice necessary was meaningful. One that defined helping others as a choice.
Honestly, he's simply curious.]
Here, I'm not sure it matters. The Force led us here for a reason, it must have. And we've plenty of allies who aren't "gifted" in the same sense.

[Wanda is not sure what she thinks of this 'Force,' but the more Anakin talks about it, the more she's certain they're only superficially alike. The Mind Stone is cruel and manipulative - it's capable of leading, though its ends are unknown and probably not benevolent.
She is still not sure what that makes her or her powers. Loki told her to stop trying to make that distinction but it's not an easy thing to own.]
We might be able to get a room to practice in. Cúrre created telepathic shielding for my room...maybe she can do it again for us.

[Working together or no, some of this is sensitive practice, and Wanda has the right idea. It's becoming harder and harder lately to find open space that isn't a bedroom, and with numbers that are only likely to grow (he hopes), the idea of using one like that seems a more and more distant consideration.]

[They could always go poking around the ILR for something, preferably far away from Ploiatos's room.]
