[After the battle and the damage has been done, Doc Yewll decides to give an all clear for the Med Bay. And address the damn weird problem happening.]
If you need medical treatment, come to the Med Bay as soon as you can.
Not sure how to take care of this glass problem yet. [Yet. Surely there's some record of this, somewhere.] We have some coverings we can use for it, though. I'd already been using force-fields for some of our artificial limbs, so if you need that, I can create some for you that would protect whatever fine crystal you got stuck with. I can also try to create some synthetic skin that's coated on the inside, but you'll have to be pretty damn careful with it.
[She's not even being catty this time, but she probably had a hell of a "windex" rant already, yelled at some inanimate objects converted to glass as if that would help anything.]
I promise we'll be looking into it. This is what I can give you for now.

The ficialskin could come in really useful here but I'm going to have to come up with a hell of an undercoating to make sure this glass doesn't shatter. Can you help me figure out how much pressure or frequency these new organs can take without shattering?

[ Seriously, he'd just been grabbing whatever he could talk someone into letting him buy. ]
Alright, working my way up to Medbay.
[ It could go unspoken that the Moira was a bit of a mess and he was pausing here and there as he made his way along. ]

[She smears her hands down her face, though the only sound indicating it is the rustle of cloth and muffled breath.]
Glad we got a bigger team for this.

[He's pretty sure he knows the answer as he asks it, but if he has to throw his weight around on this impending decision, the only one he thinks he can make, he will. Better to be armed...metaphorically. Ugh.]
In theory. That's just to stop it from...breaking.
[
Or breaking worse, as the case might just be.]no subject
So far they've worked fine. You'll have to wear a small generator, but it shouldn't be too intrusive.

If a prosthetic got...glassed, wouldn't it just be easier to attach a new one?

I'm a little worried about things going "back to normal" or something if the most current issue with the Ingress is fixed. The people that have glass parts may have them revert.
My first suggestion is to give it a couple of weeks with a temporary fix before a permanent change.

Not every incident on this ship has left people with permanent effects. We should probably protect what they have for a couple of weeks and see if whatever the hell the Ingress did levels out. I'm going to talk to some people and the guide scientist's research on her Ingress and the messy combinations of worlds it created.
So take care of those things, we might be able to restore them to normal.

[Aside from the glass hands, Boone isn't really all that hurt. Nothing he can't handle on his own, anyway. So he doesn't really want to go and sit around in the medbay taking up space if there's nothing to be done right now.]

[It's easier this way. Not as if hanging out in the Mess Hall is much of an option. And oh boy is she looking forward to when alcohol withdrawal becomes a thing.]

[And he hangs up immediately, because what is phone etiquette?
He already knows where the medbay is even after the ship decided to go to hell, since he found it once before. When he walks in he glances around at some of the other people there, looking for glass limbs. He doesn't know how many people are affected, but it seems like there are quite a few.]

Come on, Sport. Hop up here and we'll make sure washing your hands doesn't make you sound like you're playing a glass harmonica.

[Well hell.]
Come in, I'm going to give you a neck brace to extremely restrict your movement for now.

This might be the new weirdest thing that has ever happened to me.

If you need help replacing any glassed machinery, I can come over and help on that front too?

Wanna come have a look see?

Private [audio]
My internal mechanisms are turning to glass. I'm en route to the medibay with a replacement transformation cog.
[He sees no reason to beat around the bush. His t-cog is too important to waste time playing coy. But, Meh Yewll may notice a tight note of anxiety underlying the normally smooth and collected timbre of Tarn's voice.]
☄ PRIVATE
How many internal mechanisms are turned to glass? Is it one thing or a bunch of things?
[And Tarn is her patient and she'll do what she needs to do. She'll even not smile at how funny this is every damn time it happens, but it is hilarious.]
☄ PRIVATE
[Don't think he isn't painfully aware of the amount of times that he's had to come to the medibay for one reason or another. It's disgraceful.]
I'll be along shortly.
