Does anyone on the ship have experience tattooing?

What it means to you is always the important part, not what it means to others. I've got this thing.

It means it's bloody cool.

It's sort of symbolic, a design I came up with to sort of represent myself, I suppose. Painted it on the back of a jacket a long time ago when I was a teenager and decided I liked it.

I'm not against impulse tattoos but stuff with meaning is really important I think. It's neat to have sort of a relationship to a design that way.

Yeah. At the forefront it's always a matter of if you like it or not, if you think it looks good on you, if you'd want to have it on your skin the rest of your life.

But when it means something, no matter how shallow, that makes it better.

Right now I just have the one planned. But given enough experiences in my life, maybe I'll end up wanting something else too.

As long as you don't spend all your time thinking about it instead of actually getting it. Probably why I never actually got another.

True. But if you spend too much time thinking about it, it might not be right in the end. I wonder if they've got slightly longer lasting temporary things out here in space. It might help the decision process.
