prorenataa: (multi-tasking)

Video

[ Though he's keyed up the MID for video, Adrien is ignoring the screen and looking down at an old fashion pad of paper, upon which he's making notes. ]

I'm getting the impression that this crew is a little [ what's the word he wants here? ] accident prone. [ You know, just giant sentient beings crashing through walls, bullets and some of the other chaos he's witnessed since arriving. ]

As such I'm going to take our current opportunity to bolster the MedBay's supplies; just because it never hurts to be over stocked.

[ He's confident they can find nooks and crannies to stuff shit in, as necessary. ]

That brings me to two questions.

Are there any specific medical needs anyone requires that we can try to bring on board? Provided it's available.

And is anyone willing to help me coordinate getting all this back up to the Moira?

[ Because after having lugged his own personal collection of goodies back off the planet, Adrien found that transport was a bit of a challenge. ]
arcreact: while the police let me ride their horse. ((505) thank you for holding my vodka)

[ He quirks an eyebrow, not missing that. ]

Well, if you happened to come into some fancy tech by some twist of good fortune, I could probably give it a good once-over, sure.
arcreact: what kind of thug blows the compton area code exactly? this guy ((847) i blew a .213)

[ Who do you think you're talking to?????? ]

Oh, please, fine. I'll look at the boring stuff too.
arcreact: stirred for 10 seconds while glancing at an unopened bottle of vermouth. thank you. (martini. gin、 not vodka、 obviously.)

[ Who wants to take apart a tractor when they could be taking apart the newest iPhone? For starters, it's way more fun to criticize the construction of the smartphone than the tractor. ]

Don't mention it. I'm a stand-up citizen, as you know.

[ It's almost phrased like a question, that last bit. ]
arcreact: i'm a snapple bottle. if you take my top off i'll tell you a fact about science ((865) i've found my spirit animal)

[ Adrien's been uncannily correct and perceptive when it comes to Tony from the first moment they met, and if there's one thing Tony knows, it's that nobody ever manages to wrap their mind around him that quickly. And unfortunately for Adrien, one of his earliest statements to Tony was true, too: Tony Stark is absolutely a genius.

He flips the feed over to private. ]

You can cut the crap, you know. I imagine it'll be less exhausting that way.
arcreact: ((361) i'm not sure... but i think)

[ There it is. Some part of him sighs with satisfaction, the scientific part that craves vindicated theories like an addict. It had been easy enough to overlook the first few days, the strange familiarity Adrien seemed to have with him, but it quickly began to make a deeper kind of sense, the more people he talked to. The more people who knew him from "before", people who knew him from other worlds entirely.

With the benefit of hindsight, it seems obvious. ]

"Long, extremely unpleasant story that I won't like" could be the title of my autobiography, so I wouldn't stress about it too much.

[ Translation: he doesn't really care. He wants to know, and he half suspects it can't be worse than the things he's already heard about himself from his fellow Avengers. But if he's adding more to the shit heap, he may as well go for broke. ]
arcreact: and pasta with the coffeemaker. bow before your new god. ((407) made grilled cheese with an iron)

[ You're not about to hear him complain; though he's confident these posts are locked to other crewmembers (because he'd tried to crack them, and if he can't do it, then in his humble opinion it probably isn't possible for anyone else, either), that confidence does not extend to the Captains and whoever they've decided to give the keys to the computer systems.

It's basically the least comforting security ever. ]

Well, good thing I know where you live. Pick you up at eight?

[ Said like it's a date, because he's an ass. ]
arcreact: is you climbed in a garbage can and said you were trashed ((630) all i remember)

[ This guy always bites back. It's the best part. ]

Fantastic. Can't have anyone thinking I've got bad taste.

[ (It's a joke because everyone already thinks that.)

He gives a sarcastic salute and cuts the feed. ]
