Video
[ Though he's keyed up the MID for video, Adrien is ignoring the screen and looking down at an old fashion pad of paper, upon which he's making notes. ]
I'm getting the impression that this crew is a little [ what's the word he wants here? ] accident prone. [ You know, just giant sentient beings crashing through walls, bullets and some of the other chaos he's witnessed since arriving. ]
As such I'm going to take our current opportunity to bolster the MedBay's supplies; just because it never hurts to be over stocked.
[ He's confident they can find nooks and crannies to stuff shit in, as necessary. ]
That brings me to two questions.
Are there any specific medical needs anyone requires that we can try to bring on board? Provided it's available.
And is anyone willing to help me coordinate getting all this back up to the Moira?
[ Because after having lugged his own personal collection of goodies back off the planet, Adrien found that transport was a bit of a challenge. ]

Well, if you happened to come into some fancy tech by some twist of good fortune, I could probably give it a good once-over, sure.

[ Tony, do not be that brat. ]
no subject
Oh, please, fine. I'll look at the boring stuff too.
no subject
Though this turned out to be easier than he expected. Adrien was thinking he was going to have to dangle the ring in front of Tony's face as a lure. Bonus to keep that trick for later. ]
I appreciate it, Tony.
[ See. Sometimes he can have manners. Not that this will stop him from throwing rolled up socks at the back of Tony's head when the man is crashing around in the middle of a sleep cycle. ]

Don't mention it. I'm a stand-up citizen, as you know.
[ It's almost phrased like a question, that last bit. ]
no subject
Indeed I do.
[ The words were muttered, almost as if he were talking to himself, distractedly as he made notes on his paper.
Because he was distracted or he'd been more careful about such statements. There was a brief pause and the pencil stopped it's note taking, though Adrien didn't look up from the paper. Instead, he was quiet for a moment and then attempted to amend his statement and cover up the slip. ]
Living with you makes an impression in a short time.
> private video;
He flips the feed over to private. ]
You can cut the crap, you know. I imagine it'll be less exhausting that way.
> private video;
Again the pencil stopped on the paper, though Adrien still didn't look over at the video feed. ]
Oh I don't know. I can fling crap all day long and never find it exhausting.
[ He remarked, which was the truth. His entire existence involved flinging crap around and see who bought it and who didn't. Sometimes, when he really put his mind to it, he was quite excellent at the art form.
But here in lay the rub. Tony was a genius and Adrien knew it. He knew the man was also wickedly perceptive and often five chess moves down the board before the next closest player.
For fuck's sake, he'd trusted his life to the very perceptiveness that was now sticking him in the hot seat. This whole situation was a giant fucking headache. ]
It's a long, extremely unpleasant story and you won't like it.
no subject
With the benefit of hindsight, it seems obvious. ]
"Long, extremely unpleasant story that I won't like" could be the title of my autobiography, so I wouldn't stress about it too much.
[ Translation: he doesn't really care. He wants to know, and he half suspects it can't be worse than the things he's already heard about himself from his fellow Avengers. But if he's adding more to the shit heap, he may as well go for broke. ]

Tapping his pencil on the paper, Adrien was obviously still reluctant about this course of action, for reasons that weren't entirely tied back to Tony himself. But he weighted what he knew about the man against the whole game board and after a moment, he nodded. ]
Alright. But not over the network.
no subject
It's basically the least comforting security ever. ]
Well, good thing I know where you live. Pick you up at eight?
[ Said like it's a date, because he's an ass. ]
no subject
I'll put on something pretty.
[ He shot back.
As for his
paranoiacaution about the network? That will be part of the story. ]no subject
Fantastic. Can't have anyone thinking I've got bad taste.
[ (It's a joke because everyone already thinks that.)
He gives a sarcastic salute and cuts the feed. ]
