Video/Text/Action; 001

[Eggsy had woken up this morning feeling pretty good considering everything. And that everything being that he was stuck on a space ship until that ship took him home or something like that. It wasn't the worst thing ever. He'd met some good people, some good looking people, and he was in outer fucking space.

He'd gone out to get the post, pressing his thumb to his postbox and pulling out a mask that frankly looked pretty cool. He'd put it on, taken it off, and put it in his room. No big deal.

Then as he's leaving, he stops in the middle of his room, thinking about how much he was missing JB, his pug, and that's when he felt weird. His eyes felt strange and he had sudden vertigo. Everything goes dark.

When he opens his eyes again he knows somethings off. For own thing, he's smaller, his weight spread out differently, and when he looks down at the MID (which is still somehow fucking attached) it's not on his arm, but on a dogs paw. His paw. There aren't any mirrors in his room and he starts to panic, thinking change back, change back now, and he fucking does. Suddenly he's him again, and he's not really sure what's going on.

But, he wouldn't be him if he didn't think that'd it'd be awesome to be a dog for a bit, so he tries to turn and he does. He runs around his room, then gets distracted by the MID and tries to gnaw it off, accidentally turning on the video. The ship gets a nice view of this cute fucker chewing on the MID and then this text:

[Elizabeth has to look at one of her hands and the ground to figure out what's happened, but the answer seems pretty obvious. Why it happened, though, is another story. She hadn't been thinking about changing back, at least.]

[The distraction hadn't been Eggsy's alien-dog at all, it looked like the kind of dog she was far more familiar with. Poor guy seemed so upset and worried that she'd hurt herself. Elizabeth laughs and rubs the dog behind his ear as he licks her face.]

I'm okay, just a short tumble--

[She's definitely not laughing when suddenly Eggsy is an inch from her nose and her hand is on the side of his face. Oh no. Oh no no no.]

Eggsy! [Elizabeth snatches her hand back and hugs it to her chest, like if she hid it, he'd forget about her giving him scritches. She's probably just as embarrassed and bewildered as he is, though now her focus is shifting to the fact that her face sports far more Eggsy-drool than either of them are comfortable with.] It's... fine... [She stammers, wondering if he's going to be offended if she wiped her face on her sleeve.]

[The joking helps. Elizabeth looks at the oncoming sleeve warily, but when she realizes what he's doing she grins and laughs. She lets him stand her up, she rights her clothes and runs her fingers through her hair (she's been obsessively trying to keep it all in place, but it's an uphill battle).]

First base. [She corrects.] First base is tongue, Eggsy. [Apparently even though he looks like he's trying to deal with this in a flippant, awkward way, Elizabeth apparently isn't above ribbing him.]

Then you can ask next time. [...Oh she just. She just said that to keep conversing without thinking about what it meant. Elizabeth tries to turn it into a joke by forcing a laugh.] You know. To be a gentleman. About it.

[She clears her throat. She's equally flustered-- how can she stare down Atlas and still manage to turn into a complete moron around witty young men? Practice. A complete and total lack of practice, that's what she's chalking this up to.]

No-- God, no. I'm glad I'm not the only one who this is new for, I'm sure I would have started to worry once I landed wherever I was heading. This sort of transformation is something I've only read about in fiction, not... in any scientific text I've come across.

Oh, ah, right. [Yes, she'd rather not say anything more about this-- it feels a little like she ran out into a minefield and, shockingly, stepped on a landmine.]

No, I think that while whimsical, we shouldn't be able to alter our bodies that much just by thinking about it. Though I really don't think I'd be much happier having the ability to change my hair color at will either, or something like that.

[Elizabeth crosses her arms and bites her lip in thought.] I'd say it could be a matter of exposure to something on the ship--like some sort of radiation, but you've been here longer than I have and we can both do the same thing.
