[ This face isn't one that has been seen over the network before. Or rather, not this version of this face. Snake has a facial structure that's nearly identical to Liquid, though their hair colors are different. He also resembles Big Boss, but he's younger and has both of his eyes.

Despite the fact that this is his first time doing this, Snake doesn't bother introducing himself. There's no preamble at all, really. He's not that diplomatic of a person on a good day, and right now he's pissed. ]

I just got out of cryo. [ He's broadcasting from his room, and despite how disoriented his awakening was, he's got a fresh uniform on and comes across as relatively put-together, save for that undercurrent of anger. ] How long was I out? What did I miss?

I know other people have been through the same thing. Did you ever have any side effects after the fact? [ He hasn't heard of such a thing, but being unconscious for any length of time is enough to make a guy paranoid. His expression is harsh and determined as he addresses the MID's camera. ] I think if the captains are going to put us in cold storage without our permission, they need to explain why.

[ With that, the feed cuts. ]

I can't answer your questions about duration. However, it might be interesting to try to see if patterns can be established about cryo: who, when, for how long. I'm assuming you weren't injured, that you're aware of?

[ They only spoke once, but Snake recognizes Ryuuzaki's voice all the same. As a spy, that sort of attention to detail is necessary. ]

I don't feel any different, but it wouldn't be the first time I was infected with something against my will and didn't find out about it until later.

[ So it's a particular sore spot, hence the anger. ]

Not sure how many people will answer my questions, but I can try to gather some more intel on the process depending.

That data will always be anecdotal in nature, but it's not useless.

You asked about side effects. Have you experienced any?

And you're the kind of person who would rather have more than less of it, am I right?

[ Granted, that's most people, but Snake has a hunch here. There had been a certain sharpness to Ryuuzaki's baggy eyes when they'd spoken in that museum. ]

Nothing yet, but that doesn't mean anything.

Any other sort of person should probably reexamine their priorities.

Although... I suppose there might be such a thing as too much information, but I wouldn't describe a complete data set addressing a given topic that way. It's more that they can be very hard to get.

[A beat.]

No, it doesn't. How did you feel when you woke up? Normal, no sickness?

Yeah, nearly impossible to get. I'm not getting that many bites here.

[ Granted, charisma has never been Snake's strong suit. Maybe someone else might have been able to coerce people to talk about their experience with cryo, but he isn't that kind of person. ]

I felt the way anyone feels when they wake up after sleeping too much. Groggy, dehydrated, a mild headache. [ Now that he's eaten, taken a shower, and changed his clothes, he feels fine. ]

Nothing lingering, then. Was anything special going on beforehand, that you can remember? Were you off-ship?

I was on the ship.

[ Something special had been going on, if your biological father tying you up to interrogate you is special, but Snake doesn't think it's related. ]
