For those who knew them: Tony Stark, Pepper Potts, Clark Kent, Scott Lang and Foggy Nelson are gone.

[ Bruce doesn't know whether or not to leave it at that. He wants to keep it a brief announcement, almost detached, but in the process he's making it fairly obvious that some of these people leaving has affected him a lot. But then again, that's why he went with text, so he can avoid any slip of his expression or tone of voice that might betray just how upset he is.

He doesn't really want to talk about it. Or maybe he does, but he doesn't know with whom, or how to bring it up. It's not like he's ever been the best at expressing himself.

Best to just leave it at that. Short and... not really sweet, no. ]

Yes. I've checked all the cryo units and the directory. He's gone.

I'm sorry. Did you know him from home?

[clericals]

Yeah, we were - we worked together. Went out for drinks, that sort of thing.

[hyperkinesia]

We were from the same world too, but I didn't know him before coming here. He knew of me, though.

I never had the chance to get to know him better, but he seemed like a nice person. If a little excitable.

[clericals]

He was - excitable but also nice. Foggy cared about people. He cared about his friends.

I can't believe he's not here now. But that's sort of - isn't that a good thing?

[hyperkinesia]

I got that impression, yes.

[ He just sometimes said things without thinking, and that maybe didn't sit well with Bruce, but it had been far from enough to make him dislike the man. ]

It depends on whether people really do go back home.

They have to. Foggy has to.

We can only hope. But the universe doesn't really care much about what we want. Or universes, as is the case.

[clericals]

Yeah, I guess.

I wonder if it's easier when you have faith. Believing in a God that has a plan, that sort of thing.

[hyperkinesia]

You'd have to ask someone who actually believes in that kind of stuff. Sorry. But maybe it is, I don't know. Life's probably easier when you believe there's always something nice waiting for you at the end.

[ Whatever 'end' that might end up being. ]

Right. I guess I should ask Matt. Especially since he was his friend too.

Matt Murdock, right? I've met him too. He's still around, though, I think.

Yeah, that's him. And thank...whatever for that.

The Ingress, I guess. Although you still wouldn't be alone if that weren't the case. One of the perks of traveling across space in a ship full of people.
