I find myself rather out of my depth in this situation. Space is certainly not my forte in the slightest, unless there are aliens in need of a well tailored suit. Most of my experience with space ships has been through peripheral experience with science fiction.

My name is Harry Hart, I work as a tailor in London. Or I did previous to making my unexpected trip through the Ingress.

It seems that my lot aboard ship is to continue this work. I've been given equipment and fabric in order to better upkeep the uniforms we have all been given. If you arrange an appointment I would be glad to assist in making sure that, should your uniform be ill fit, your issue is corrected to the best of my ability.

I would like to note that my experience has thus far been exclusively with humans. If there are people of... different species aboard I would be glad to work with you to ensure the best possible outcome.

How do other species survive having to drape themselves in cruddy layers of fibers all of the time? I think I'd rather just die than deal with that.

Well from what I've learned it's because we learned to drape ourselves in fibers that we survived. Protection from the elements does tend to be a priority for human beings.

If you're looking for something to do, I'd be happy to be your first customer. I'm, er, a little small for standard sizing. My clothes back home are usually tailored to fit. I'm sure we could arrange some sort of trade, if you like.

I did notice that the array of sizes from off the rack does tend to be rather limited in both their upper and lower limits. I'd be happy to assist you in getting some properly fitting uniforms.

Well, seeing as I'm in space on a bloody spaceship of all things I have a choice before me. I have the option of acting like a professional or a having a mental breakdown trying to convince myself this is all an elaborate hallucination. I've chosen the former because the latter does no one any good.

Does your job description include making uniforms from scratch, or just altering them? Because the uniform I was given is not only significantly too small but also the complete wrong shape. It seems like they weren't expecting any dragons on the crew. Even on Pyrrhia, we don't really wear clothing other than jewellery or sometimes armor, but I don't know if I should mention anything to the captains. I don't know what they would say, and I don't want to try and sound like I'm trying to get out of something that's mandatory.

But perhaps we could figure out a time to meet in person?

As I said above, I've not worked with non-human species. I'm not sure how successful I will be at producing a proper uniform with you but I'm sure we can work something out that will function for the duration of your time on the ship.

I could use some help with mine. The trousers aren't made for digitigrade legs. I don't know what you could do with them, but they're pretty uncomfortable right now...

I would be happy to try and help find a solution. As I've never worked with alternative skeletal structures I'm sure it will be quite the learning experience. By any chance do you have samples of clothing that does fit your frame properly? It might help me reverse engineer a proper pattern.

[Tron isn't entirely sure what a "tailor" is, but he can work out most of the definition from the context. He's used to clothing that's coded directly onto him, so this... fabric is quite a change.]

I could use your assistance with my uniform. I have attempted alterations to it on my own, but it is... inefficient. [Translation: he's torn a hole in the back to allow space for his disc port.]

I will admit that wanting something that doesn't fit quite properly isn't a request I usually get. I'm not sure what can be done for the thermals to make them larger but I suppose I could work something with the uniforms themselves.
