[Video] Poisoned pie PSA - April 19th

[In contrast to her last video earlier this month, Toriel is serious as she gazes at the MID. Her voice carries more authority than expected from a large monster.] Those who received food this month from the mail, please, please check if it is safe before consuming any of it.

My son received a pie, which was baked full of a poisonous plant. He did not realize until he and his sibling had already eaten a good portion of it. Both are working the plants out of their system currently. Given some time they will be well. [Her expression flickers to something worried, gaze drifting to the side to peer at the children before she continues. Her gaze serious once again, chin held high as she speaks. The worry vanishes from her features entirely, masked by sternness.]

I'm am not entirely clear on who he shared this pie with beyond Frisk, but I ask anyone who was given a piece of pie from Asriel please go to the medbay immediately. Buttercups are dangerous, they can kill anyone who eats enough of them.

Please check your food thoroughly if it came from the mail system, we do not know where it comes from, much less what is inside of it. Be safe, please.

[The business like tone is preferable to panic, it warrants a thin smile from the monster.] Asriel realized sooner, but Frisk managed to consume a whole piece of the pie.

Tea would be appreciated, both have irritated throats at this point. Frisk in particular.

I was thinking something a little stronger than ordinary tea. It should take care of any blistering in their mouths as well as the irritated throats.

[Buttercups are really unpleasant. There's a reason she was so shocked to find out Chara had died of buttercup overdose. Usually the blisters are enough to warn anyone off eating them. Wild animals never do, either.]

That would be wonderful. Please if you could bring any I would genuinely appreciate it. [Tension fades somewhat from her shoulders, the boss monster openly relieved at the offer.]

[She already has her kit slung over a shoulder and is on the way to boil water. She might have an entirely different variety of tea in hand for Toriel when she arrives. Something mildly calming.]

When Rosethorn gets there, she has a big pot of hot water in hand and her whole kit of teas and medicines slung over one shoulder. "I'm Rosethorn. I brought the tea I promised, and a different kind for you if you'd like some."

Toriel offers the woman a polite, if not warmer smile at her arrival. "Thank you- on both counts." She motions for Rosethorn to make herself at home.

"I am Toriel. It is a pleasure to meet you, even given these circumstances."
