[ Hello dear crew, here's a new face appearing on the network. ]

Greetings. My name is Satine Kryze, and the position I have been assigned on this crew is Interpersonal Relationships Officer. My task is to maintain peaceful relationships between crew members, and since I have only recently arrived I would greatly appreciate any information you may have on frictions within the crew. Please give me said info privately, as I do not wish to turn this into a gossip mill.

If you are ever in need of a mediator, or simply someone neutral to discuss your problems with, feel free to contact me.

The second thing I wish to address, is the situation on board Del Pascia. Have there been discussions regarding whether or not we can do anything to help the prisoners on board the station? And if the situation is hopeless, should we not at least try to prevent others from blindly wandering into the trap?

You could always ask the two Arbitration Officers on-board. ( ivan offers, an affable smile breaking out over his face ) Although I think Gregor's the one you'd want -- the other one seems to think murder solves a lot of disagreements.

Like I said, Gregor does -- he's got a similar job back home. ( sort of. if being emperor counts. ) But I don't think they give really intensive screenings on what you're good at before they hand you the paperwork. ( sounds like another day in bureaucracy hell to him.

he does smile wider though, at her thanks. even if he weighs the pros and cons of correcting her on the form of address. his mother is here, and if she saw the mister she'd have a fit on his behalf. but none of his titled cousins go by there's, so-- )

She wouldn't object to being corrected, she does try to address people with their proper titles when she knows them, but if he wishes to be more informal she sees no reason why not. ]

By that I mean the Autobots and the Decepticons. They don't like each other very much and who knows what'll happen.

Well, it all started when my kind had a very rigid caste system that people didn't like. One day one guy got sick of it and rose up and overthrew it, but then decided he liked being on top and then burned the rest of the planet to the ground. He was the leader of the Decepticons, and those people who didn't like the genocide and tyranny were the Autobots.

Anyway, there's a bunch of Autobots and a couple Decepticons around, and they don't much like each other.

Considering the recent trial, an attempt to rewrite the AI would almost certainly result in more tension between organic and non-organic crew members.

Do you know what the computer has actually done to the prisoners? I wouldn't claim to understand it myself.

I won't go into details. Mostly because they're confusing.

But the Snakes. They don't get along very well. There is good reason. A lot of consent issues that affected them all, but unfortunately placed many of them in opposition to each other.

If something should happen [though honestly at this point he foolishly doesn't think it will] at least know that's at the root of it.

If you check the MID there will be three men listed as "Snake". Solid Snake, Liquid Snake, Venom Snake. There's a fourth as well, but he's listed as "Ishmael". "Snake" is a code name, a title earned through performance on missions. Usually indicative of a special skill set.

They all have similar faces. And all have been badly treated by one man, and are set at odds because of it. Maybe if that one man was here, then they probably would get along much better.

I'm doing my best to maintain some peace between them. Three of them at least are important to me. One... [is responsible for his future death, but if he plays his cards right, might not be] ...One is... he's suffered a lot of rejection and can be very aggressive.

I don't want to mention too much. Just if something does happen, be aware that there is that consent issue, that they've all been exploited at great length, and robbed of any sort of normal life.

I'm not sure how much discussion has happened, but we can't leave things as they are.

I am afraid I can mostly pose the questions and hope that someone with the necessary knowledge can give me answers. I myself was brought back from death to be on board this ship, it would seem to me that we ought to have the resources to free these people from this... infection.

[ It's not the best word to use, but it will have to do for the time being. ]

And for that matter, what to we know of whatever it is that caused the decontamination protocol to be put in place? Do those of us who have visited the station now carry the seed of this... this condition within us? Will running away without taking any other action solve that?

It isn't exactly my area of expertise [I'm a politician, not a doctor, Jim], but I'd recommend talking to the medical team here. They'll know the extent of the Moira's capabilities.

If you'll forgive an intrusive question, do you remember if your health was returned by the Ingress or the medtechs? If it was the former, we might not be able to use that to help the Del Pascia's prisoners.
