[rey had never received a package before. suspicion had been her first response when she'd gotten the message on her MID. it had to have been some kind of trick. she's prepared for the absolute worst when she picks up the box, holding it as if it might detonate at any second.
inside was dosmit ræh's helmet.
her heart had constricted. ræh had been her imaginary friend as a child, and was still someone rey looked up to even though they'd never met. and since her helmet had been inside a wrecked ship, they probably never would. so having the helmet back was a gift she'd never dreamed of. but it also meant that someone had been in her home, in her private space. and that makes her furious.]
how do these packages get here? who retrieves them? i need to know

I used to think they already had our stuff. And when we asked for it, they knew it was ours. But you didn't ask for this, so they wouldn't have been able to figure it out. You're right, this is weird.
