As it's been quite some time since I last did this, it seems time to reintroduce myself for the sake of the new members of the crew and those who aren't aware.

My name is Harry Hart and my assigned job upon the ship is Tailor. It was my job back on my world of origin and it seems I'm to continue it for as long as I'm here. What this means for you is that should you require alterations to your uniform to make it fit properly or need something entirely new crafted you have options beyond having to make it yourself or learning to do without.

Should you have need of anything, please contact myself or my assistant Ryan Farrow via the MID and we will do our best to accommodate your request. We may need some extra time to work on... unusual requests but I can assure you that we'll figure out a solution that works for everyone. After all, if we are to survive out here we might as well have clothing that suits our needs, don't you think?

[Miller gets up from the couch to greet him, putting a hand on his upper arm. His dog is still laying lazily at the bottom, doing her best impression of a rug.]

Sorry to call you away from your work.

But the Intelligence team is being a little more... thorough. Don't talk about Kingsman in public areas on the ship. I know you and Eggsy probably are careful anyway, but now you might not be as alone as you think.

I'm not telling you why. Just...

[Handing out half-information to two people. But he wants to make sure Harry doesn't make any embarrassing mistakes.]

You did nothing of the sort, I had finished all the work I had for the evening.

[ That information gives him pause, though he keeps calm. He never speaks about Kingsman anywhere except in the privacy of their barracks. ]

I appreciate the courtesy, Kaz. I'll make sure Eggsy knows.

[ The fact that he won't say more tells Harry plenty. Someone he knows likely upgraded their surveillance. ]

I'll be careful, I don't intend on accidentally discussing anything sensitive in the open.

[He thinks about telling him about his stupidity with the lighters. He had been afraid, and he's known to be aggressive when afraid. So he was carrying two of them. That raised a little bit of suspicion, enough so that he had to keep Big Boss from blowing the two of them up.]

[But he doubts Snake will want to be making his uniform more impressive anytime soon, so he probably won't figure out where the lighters came from.]

[He can't bring himself to admit that, so he gestures to the couch.] If you want to stay for a while besides that, I wouldn't mind the company.

[ But first things first, before he even moves to sit down, Harry kneels down next to Mama and give her ears a gentle rub. One must always greet a lady after all. And even if he hasn't owned a dog in years it doesn't change the fact that Harry finds them wonderful animals. ]

Hello, my dear. [ With that bit of tribute paid he sits down, looking to Kazuhira again. ]

She certainly looks like she's going to have quite the litter if her size is anything to go by.

Eight, I think.

[Mama leans her head up and perks those thickly furred ears, wagging her tail. Miller sits down as well, and the saddest part is he still grabs the back with his left hand and lowers himself down onto it, habits from having gotten used to absent limbs.]

I told Bucky that I thought her pups would do well if properly trained. But Mama herself, I intend for her to remain a civilian.

[He jostles her side and she makes a warbly noise, that huskylike tendency to turn their grumping into words.]

I'd say after being a mother to eight children she's earned a peaceful life.

[ He gives her one last head rubs before joining Kaz on the couch.

The prospect of being given one of her pups is still rather daunting to him, he may have shared Mr. Pickle's name with Kazuhira but he wasn't going to mention that he was technically still hanging around if he could help it. ]

You'll have to give me advice on training a husky, I've only ever trucked with small dogs before.

Might actually refer to Solid Snake more than myself. He's actually had 50 huskies. Raced them in the Iditarod. [He has a tone Harry might find familiar. That one that's almost fatherly, proud of a student's accomplishments even if he's not yet trained that student. Just knowing he exists, that he contributed in some way to making a great man, gives back some faith that he's been missing.]

Ocelot is good with dog training in general, as well.

Though I can only tolerate him in small doses. [Which is an upgrade from not being able to stand his company at all.]

That certainly is quite the number. I suppose I ought to be grateful Eggsy can't fit more dogs in his room.

[ He recognizes the mirror of his own affection for his protege. That pride at knowing he played a part in doing something good is quite familiar. ]

I've yet to have the pleasure of speaking to Mr. Ocelot. Which might be due the best, I'm not sure I'd want him to start wondering after me.

I don't think pugs would do as well in front of a dog sled, but I could very well be wrong.

I'm inclined to agree. His curiosity seems pretty sated here. I'm surprised by how little he's looked around. Maybe because he's been more focused on looking after the two versions of Big Boss, the phantom and the genuine article.

[Though it doesn't surprise him at all that Big Boss planted fucking surveillance furries everywhere. He wishes that it did.]
