[Considering the amount of scraplets that have been crawling around the ship, the handful of grooves sawed into Megatron's armor seems like a conservative amount of damage to take. He's looking more annoyed than legitimately concerned, at least. But he was never one to panic easily.]

It has become glaringly obvious that the ship has become victim to an infestation of some species of scraplet - virulent pests from my homeworld. Cybertronian protocols regarding exterminating them generally involve isolating the colony before it spreads out of control.
 

But seeing as it's somewhat late for that option, we'll need to concoct some more unorthodox methods of extracting them from inside the ship's internals before they eat through something particularly important.

Fortunately, the species infesting the Moira appear to be far less intelligent than the ones from our world, and are susceptible to the cold. With a little organization, we should be able to whittle down their numbers.

I don't imagine I need to explain why your cooperation is necessary if you enjoy breathing air and dislike prolonged exposure to cosmic radiation.

Using live lures to herd them into the air locks should be fairly effective, but we will need volunteers.

I've seen these things in action. I don't believe I'd be terrifbly effective bait, but how else can I help?

An effort like this would be most effective in teams. Particularly if you're made of something less attractive to the scraplets.

How familiar are you with the ship's systems? The air lock controls are far more suited to someone your size.

[A Cybertronian with a deeper appreciation of comedy might have pat this organic on the back for a job well punned. Megatron is a far more dour sort, especially in this situation, and merely gives Zam the flattest frown.]

If we have another ground vehicle that is expendable, I could use that.

Exposing yourself to a vacuum will be dangerous, but that would be a good addition if the vehicle can outpace them.

I'd still recommend doing the rounds in pairs or a group.

If you need something to use as bait, you could use my father's armor. It's the, um, large dragon-shaped metal armor in the cargo bay.

[ Surely, Megatron would have seen the unusual suit of armor that was nearly as big as the cybertronian was. ]

[He has noticed it, in fact. He very meticulously kept track of their supplies when he'd personally worked down there.]

Can this armor have some form of live energy running through it? I couldn't sense anything when I saw it down there.

[ Minimus is looking rather worn down himself. Most of the armor plating on one arm has been eaten through, and he was covered with smaller injuries. The Magnus Armor behind him was riddled with holes and gashes where the scraplets had gotten to it before Minimus could exterminate them. ]

You have my assistance of course. If these scraplets are so keen on hunting us down, we may as well use that to our advantage.

[He sounds relieved. A little worse for wear, but still quite functional. The Civil War didn't last as long as it did because they were easy to kill.]

I think I will be fine, but it would be wisest to do the rounds in pairs. Sideswipe may get a little too eager in his antics and get himself cornered.

[Megatron is not very good at calming frightened people. He's usually the one inflicting the terror.]

We're fortunate they have yet to show the ability to fuse together to create a larger conglomerate form, as our scraplets can.
