Suffice it to say, they don't particularly take his words to heart which is made obvious when the metal teeth finally release the MID showing a swarm of scraplets lunging at the synthezoid from every direction and promptly phasing through him as if he were a ghost. Vision stands amid the swarm with a troubled look on his face while the robots continuously try to tear into his metal flesh failing every time.]

I'm afraid I can't accept that answer.

[despite the fact they are clearly not harming him, riptide can't help but wince every time one goes through vision on camera.]

[He does indeed look and gets a face full of scraplet, except... it goes right through his head, literally speaking. Vision himself looks a little white washed, almost as if he is indeed a ghost.]

They are... [a crease of his brow] difficult to communicate with.

Well, yeah, they don't have higher brain function. It's just eat eat eat eat.

Yeah, they're little pests from my home planet. They super suck. Like to eat people alive and ruin delicate equipment. Their hives smell bad, too.

[visionarie]

Then, you know how to handle them.

Yeah... it's mostly just stomping on them. Or, uh. Freezing them. Nothing fancy, I'm afraid.

[visionarie]

[His shoulders hunch down by a cm. He looks disappointed.]

No. They're pests that just want to eat living metal.

They'll kill you if you don't, or move on to someone else they can actually get their teeth in. Why not?
