So, here's the deal. I need to plan a surprise birthday party asap, because apparently it's actually March on the good ship Moira and I'm late. Which means I need cake, decorations, maybe some music, you know the deal. Typical teenage good times to be had by all.

Let's say tomorrow at three by the pool? Sorry about the lack of notice, but technically I'm already four days behind.

Also, if you're friends with Conner Kent? You're invited. As for everyone else, just don't tell him, okay? And if anyone wants to volunteer to distract him so he doesn't find out, that'd be really great too.

[Of course, after the transmission Zatanna's going to be incredibly busy. For one, she has to keep track of Conner's whereabouts and make sure he doesn't accidentally find out anything. And then there's setting everything up on short notice, while pulling resources from a spaceship that has a massive cargo hold and little apparent organization.

Things M'gann makes look easy. Still, Zatanna's resourceful. If nothing else, she can magick up a solution, which means it's very likely someone's going to catch her doing just that if they head into the rec room at the right time.]

I wish i could have some cake, but i've tried eating human food a couple times before and it never turned out well for me.

Energon mostly. It's only when I started spending time with organic species that i started to realize how boring our food is. its really sad and tragic cuz all our fuel is pretty much the same colour.

i tried alcohol and chocolate once, seperately i mean, and i think it was good? i couldnt tell because they jammed up my fuel tanks

Alcohol I can't say, but chocolate is pretty awesome. I'm not sure if it's for robots though. :(

I mean there's different kinds of engex (which is what we use to get drunk wit) but aside from that it's not too intersting. i don't now if i can describe the taste to an organic, since i dont know if our tastes taste the same.

oh yeah theres plenty of cool stuff to being us! we can transform and a lot of other races cant and we live for a very long time. im six million earth years old if you can believe it and everyone else isn't much younger

He definitely likes animals, but he's already adopted a kitten. [Sorry Peter, that's out.] The music thing could work though. Conner's--pretty laidback when it comes to hobbies.

[Since it seems more like he's okay with doing whatever M'gann or the team shows an interest in. Which is cool, but really, there's only so many times Zatanna can catch him watching static on the tv without thinking it's weird.

She does have to laugh when Peter points out Conner's lack of cheer though.] Would you believe he's gotten way more mellow since when I first met him? [Which isn't saying a whole lot, but it's true.] He really is a good guy once you get to know him.

Music it is then. But I hope he's keeping the poor thing away from the wolf. And please tell me he named it something better than "Cat".

[After Wolf, Peter has no faith in Conner's naming skills. If only there was a way to get him a baby names book in time for the party.]

Yeah, and what was he like before? Even less talkative? [Not that it bothered Peter that much. More time for him to talk, as far as the speedster was concerned.] Hey, no. I get it. Some people just take some time to warm up.
