Ruica's basically spinach, and Leia has Complicated Feelings about it. But never mind that. She's looking directly into the feed, wearing a pleasant, Not At All Complicated expression on her face. Princesses talking to groups know how to look mild while doing so.]

Greetings. If we haven't met before, it's a pleasure to speak with you.

I was brought to the Moira recently, and I'm still learning the ship's norms, so I hope you'll forgive the questions. Does the Moira have any facilities or previously agreed-upon standards for trading packages from home? I'm sure some of us have received items we don't need, or don't need in the quantity we received.

An informal system makes sense. It might be more convenient to have a specific place to post requests and offers so the network isn't flooded with half a dozen disparate requests.

That's fair. Maybe we could get a bulletin board to hang in the mess, or something like that? Then people could just post what they've got, or what they're looking for, and meetings could be set up over the MIDs.

That's not a bad idea. If we could put something together on the MID network, that might be easier for people to check, but I'm not sure how easily it could be done.

[Would it require a slicer? That's definitely not her area of expertise.]

Definitely. But that's something you'd have to take up with someone who actually works on the MIDs to get set up. It's probably doable, if they agree it's a good idea and are willing to take it on.
