3 questions.

1. What is the mortality rate?

2. Who enforces discipline?

[ You can learn a lot about the culture of a ship through its rules. He rules out HYDRA -- they're usually more cruel and efficient than this. Here, he and the others are animals in a trap, at the mercy of unknown entities powerful enough to draw and keep all of them in here. He doesn't give voice to these thoughts.

Eyes and ears in the walls, in these devices -- he doesn't trust them, his paranoia is his greatest asset. ]

3. Where and when were you from, at the moment you were taken?

1. Do you mean mortality rate for people that stay dead or just people that die?

2. The ship enforces discipline. If you fuck up it gets voted on.

[Though as someone that went to the hold for a while for flipping a table and hasn't seen anyone punished for property destruction since, just violence against their fellows, he's not super keen on the whole punishment system.]

3. I was a part of a different crew on another ship. Before that ship, Liberty City. 2008.

1. Enough of a mortality rate that it's better to try and get along, no matter how bad you get pissed at someone. [And oh, does he ever get pissed at people.]

2. The security cameras and the collective people on it.

3. Not exactly like this. That one was a little different. But yes, this isn't the only ship that scoops people up.

1. Some external threats, depending on how bad a trip planetside goes. Looks like old debts among crew. Sometimes people are from the same world, and payback can be a bitch.

2. I showed up as everyone else did. Just from that ship. Me, my girlfriend, and about three other people.

I think I knew someone like you, too. You speak Russian, right?

1. I think some get bored with it.

2. And you have a fake arm. And you are called Bucky. And you don't really laugh much. And you are friend to Steve Rogers.

Another man like you helped me break a code once. Because I knew longitude and latitude and could pinpoint map locations after he picked out the numbers that do not match up in the series.
