3 questions.

1. What is the mortality rate?

2. Who enforces discipline?

[ You can learn a lot about the culture of a ship through its rules. He rules out HYDRA -- they're usually more cruel and efficient than this. Here, he and the others are animals in a trap, at the mercy of unknown entities powerful enough to draw and keep all of them in here. He doesn't give voice to these thoughts.

Eyes and ears in the walls, in these devices -- he doesn't trust them, his paranoia is his greatest asset. ]

3. Where and when were you from, at the moment you were taken?
niffin: because you're my king ([ tan: but that's not my business ])

3. urbana, illinois, usa, earth, milky way galaxy. about 5 pm. it's 2009.

are you looking for a pattern?
niffin: past the wondering eyes ([ blouse: meh ])

1. something like that. not sure how it works, and apparently it doesn't always. i'd suggest asking medbay.

2. when the MIDs record evidence, or someone reports something bad going down, the offenders are detained in the ship hold. the captains record the votes of crew on three proposed punishment options. out-of-the-box suggestions have been taken before.

i've been looking: though not this actively. we're dealing with multi-dimensional transports, it may be the case that the variables involved are ones we can't see. it's valuable information to have on record, though.

[ For people who aren't lying, at least. Alice isn't naive enough to think that she's the only one. ]

have you noticed anything yet?

[ She has her own ideas, but it's more valuable to hear his. ]
niffin: ([ tan: mulling it over ])

1. we've got a morgue on-board and it's not public access. make of it what you will.

2. ex - superpower inhibition, therapy

i've been here about a month. it's about how long i've been looking

[ And through the CDC before that. Enough of the trends don't match to discredit some old theories — but, ]

the first thing you're going to notice is how many of those aboard are human. or near to it.

the second thing is that there seem to be clusters. people from similar worlds, all pulled in together. like those dimensions have more gravity somehow. not literally, of course
