I think people have a tendency to toss the word monster around a little too freely.

[ Yes. There were a lot of awful people out there, but only a rare few could actually qualify to be called monsters. Hell, a lot of the unknown tended to get thrown into that box just because no one wanted to take the time to figure out just they were exactly. It made the word lose its power. ]

I can be pretty stubborn when I want to get into somewhere.
But the warning's appreciated.

Can't say that I know her.
Just arrived, myself.

Haven't had a chance to really get to know other people.

[ Ok, so it's not that she hasn't had a chance. It's legit that she just doesn't care enough to at this point. Get her bearings, get settled in somewhere with Trish, make sure she's okay, and then go from there. ]
