[It’s been a tense week of disguises, stealth, and unsuccessful network hacking attempts, but as the days continue to pass without incident, Zam is beginning to think all of this was a false alarm. Yes, the Jedi from Coruscant are on the ship, possibly along with the senator, but for whatever reason, the Ingress seems to have forgotten about Jango. Neither his name nor his face have appeared on the directory, which means he either isn’t here or he never got his MID. Never hurts to double-check though, and since he won’t be checking the network in either of those situations...]

Just so we’re clear, no one’s seen a human male in blue and silver armor among the newcomers, have they? If you do, you should let me know. Immediately.

Also, to the two or three people now on the ship who are acquainted with me from back home: we’re all in the same situation here -- I don’t want to be here, you don’t want to be here, and I also don’t want you to be here. Let’s not make a bad situation worse by digging up past disputes.

Speaking of which, has anybody figured out how to change your display name on this kriffing thing?

[Three years? There’s a noticeable halt in Zam’s replies as the information hits her. She can’t have been on the Moira for that long, can she? Or maybe she had been dead for that time before the Moira picked her up? Another possibility, just as nonsensical, is that the Ingress somehow pulled the Jedi from another time. She remembers the conversation she’d had with that Maya woman a few weeks earlier -- she had talked about being from a galaxy where the Republic and the Confederacy were long gone, but given the altered nature of the conversation, Zam hadn’t taken her seriously at the time. She’s starting to regret that now. Shaking her head slightly, she refocuses on the conversation.]

It’s preferable to being dead, if that’s what you’re asking. Doesn’t mean I like it here.

[There’s a pause as another question occurs to Zam and it's not the kind she's interested in discussing publicly. Zam opens Skywalker's private channel.]

I saw the senator come out of the Ingress as well. If it’s been three years and she’s still alive, I’m guessing the bounty was either dropped, or Jango Fett’s been dealt with. [And Zam knows Jango doesn’t drop bounties.]

[Zam might have to wait on the second half of that query, she's put the one thing into a sentence that Anakin focuses on with myopic precision without second thought.

She has to be mistaken, he'd have felt that. She would be HERE and they wouldn't even be having this conversation. But what other possibility is there? It's unlike any bounty hunter he's met to mistake a payload.

And then it hits. The senator they have on board with such an alarming similarity that it caught him off guard. That has to be it. He'd know otherwise.]

[Zam bristles at that.] My eyes are a lot more reliable than your jedi Force tricks. Trust me, I’m good with faces. [Also, Jango may have passive-aggressively re-sent her the mark’s picture after Zam accidentally took out a decoy the first time. Zam likes to think she's pretty reliably committed the face to memory by now.]

Are you going to tell me what happened to Jango Fett or not?
