Well, I imagine that there isn't a physical letter per se, but perhaps there's an electronic communication of some sort that the captains could release-- if they have actually written ahead to inform our destination that we're coming. I've been here for almost six months though, they could be planning on sending a message when we get closer. But I'll contact them and see what can be done.
If you've only just arrived, I understand that the situation can seem unbelievable and proof can go a long way to assuaging concerns that we're not going where we say we are. I do believe, though, that there has to be some element of trust regardless of proof in this instance.
