I've written up some training routines specifically geared towards stealth and retrieval. I would like to grab some volunteers. There are higher levels of difficulty.
The training room is also open for other trainers to provide firearms and combat training, and also basic self-defense is available of course. Let me know what you'd be interested in.
On a more personal note, for those people that know me, or are acquainted with me, and have very good intentions? Try not to fix me up for a little while. I know it seems like a fun hobby, but I'm not really feelin' it.

Re: private
[He does think it would be a waste to see Ivan go untrained. No A++ level officer, probably not. But he could hold his own. He could manage some incredible things. That need for mediocrity, limiting himself, maybe that's just the sort of fighter he likes. He won't go out into the world and become a threat, be a tyrant.]
[Miller hasn't been picky about the people he's trained, no. He spent his youth poor, and if people give him money he will teach them to fight regardless of their cause. He used to be more noble. In recent years, selling himself as easily as his mother did her youth.]
[Someone like Ivan? Wouldn't turn out a monster. He's sure of that. And every time he hears him talk like, he wishes all the more he could give him a boost. He can't force that idealism on someone though, that desire for personal growth. Ivan wants to be a particular type of man, and he can't blame him for that. Not at all.]
Yes, it would be a lot like that. Simple maneuvers that can help you out more than you would expect.

( what sort of problems are ten story problems and how does ivan avoid them? )
I'll think about it and let you know in a few days how it shakes out. ( alys vorpatril didn't raise a son who only responds when things are positive, even though in ivan's estimation, that's easier. ) Thanks, Kaz.
