Transmission 001 [Video??]
[There's nothing wrong with your mid feeds, even though staring at an unmoveable glowing box may make you wonder if this is an actual video feed or someone just posting a picture as some odd place holder during a voice transmission. Either way, it's just a glowing blue box to accompany the words.
At least the voice is nice to listen to, all smooth radio announcer like even with the inherent condescending tone to it all.]
Well, quite a welcome there for us new folks I would say. Though I've been assured that's not a common theme....However the observations of such and the resulting fall out has made me realize there may be a small but important aspect of life upon a ship that is lacking.
That being in the form of free time distractions and hobbies, something that any basic psychology will tell you is important in regards to morale and giving an outlet to excess energy, especially in a high stress environment which can be created or naturally occurring. Now some may say that there is enough to do, but even in a military setting free time and giving soldiers ways to burn off excess energy while reducing stress is vital. There's only so many times you can have one run drills or do patrol duties before they snap and all.
So! A bit of a general survey should be conducted yes, in regards to certain activities that would help focus energy and give an outlet for stress that doesn't end with someone being bloodied and bruised in a hall or such. Like painting or poker tournaments, even just some good old fashion book clubs would be good. With how varied this crew is I'm certain we can figure out and set up something everyone can enjoy while we sail through the black void of space.

okay well in that case humor me for a second
if you're an ai and i'm assuming you don't have a physical or corporeal form or if you do i guess you're keeping it on the down low for whatever reason
but IN ANY CASE if you're an ai and lacking a body what the hell do you care about human hobbies?

It pretty much all boils down to my intents to make certain the crew does not become so bored that more violent or even destructive tendencies don't become common.
Idle hands and all that. Would hate for someone to go on a crew killing spree or bombing a vital part of the ship due to nothing better to do with their time.
[You should really understand what happens when you let people be bored Church, really.]
