Ssssoooooo... I gotta ask. What do you guys do for fun around here? I mean, aside from getting involved in the politics of creepy dating planets, or ordering delivery from Dead Bodies r' Us or whatever. Where's a guy gotta go to hang out with other cool people, and watch movies and play video games and stuff? Seriously, please tell me that there's some place to chill at on this ship other than the library?

Oh, uh. I'm Beast Boy, by the way. You've maybe seen me around the ship already. Y'know the handsome devil with the green skin and the pointy ears? That's me.

...Wait seriously? Man, between you and that nymph kid there are officially way more green people here than I've ever met back home. It's kind of weird!

Anyway uh... I mean I guess it can't hurt to tell you? I'll keep a long story short, basically I got pretty sick when I was little, and the cure that was used on me had some weird genetic side effects. Like, turning my skin and hair green, and uh. Giving me the power to turn into different animals.

...That last part is actually pretty rad.

Yeah - there's a nymph here? Really? [Med'an you have seen so much weirder things, why would that be exciting to you.

Other things that are exciting - or at least very interesting: Beast Boy's origin story! He has no clue what disease would need a cure that turns you green and makes you a shapeshifter, but it sounds cool anyway. And it might be odd - but hearing the other boy be so up front about it feels...sort of nice. He has his own weird backstory, and he never knows how much he should tell people, or if he should feel embarrassed about it or not. But if BB is going to be open, then Med'an can be too, right? CAN WE BE FRIENDS? CAN WE MAKE FRIENDSHIP BRACELETS]

That is pretty rad. [Also he has never said "rad" in his entire life. Tentatively - and briefly, because maybe Beast Boy doesn't really care, but - ] Um...I am half-human.
