For those that were in Avelle for the past week, has anyone here noticed the crash?

Or the significant lack of coverage or aftermath?

I have concerns. Perhaps it's a lack of acquaintance with the local culture, but it seems unusual to remain silent when something wrecks into one of the city's main resources. That we are also strangers here reminds me that makes us very prone. We may be in their records now, but it is as simple biological resources.

We're going to have an important figure on board. It might be sufficient to secure our safety. But I am curious about that crash.

[He clears his throat. Moving on.]

Do you have the equivalent of an R&D team? A group that I can propose a project to if I give them the specifics? It would take a bit of work but in the long run I think it would be beneficial.

[ That is a pretty complicated question to be asking him without the proper documents to just hand over. Not that he'd ever really needed that considering how well-known his face was, but in a time like this, it'd certainly be handy. ]

Captain Steve Rogers. [ Introductions first though. ] That list is probably a lot longer than we have time for, but if you say it, I've probably done it. I lead a team of people back home, the Avengers. We do what we can to keep the world safe. [ He pauses, unsure about the word but eventually saying it anyway. ] You know, superheroes?

My name is Kazuhira Miller. I'm the subcommander of a military platform whose focus was mercenary work, tactical espionage, often against enemy combatants of strange abilities.

I'm also an experienced trainer.

I think if I can send some people out into the field, gather some intelligence, we could use it to pinpoint the location of the Komai. Everyone on their own can only do so much good, but with a unifying effort...

[ Strange abilities makes him wonder, and Steve wants to question it, especially considering some of those aboard who could fit that description. Wanda immediately comes to mind, but he decides to work with it rather than against it. Right now, their problem is the Komai--not each other. He thinks it over slowly. ]

I can ask around. [ Because he knows people, but he'd rather do this on their terms before getting anyone else involved. ] Is there a particular place you'd want to start first?

[Hey, if they're not enemy combatants, he doesn't care. ~~Okay, he does care if they're the Skulls. But Steve probably wouldn't like those either.~~]

I know someone looking around Avelle. I'll ask where Snake is going.

I'm thinking of setting up a gridded map. Keeping track of where clues might be.

Have there been any particular recurring themes you've noticed about the Komai?

Sounds fair. [ Which is all he's got going for him right now. Working smart is better anyway. ] Aside from trying to stay in the dark? Not much. They don't like that corporation though. Might be something to look into.

I'll ask people to keep an eye on them, too.

Other than the crash, any other Komai sightings mentioned?

There was an arrest in St. Murtel - I was there. Anywhere else is still a guess. [ Which is why asking around will probably benefit them both. ]

You find that in Avelle?

Yes. Twice now. Once on the wreckage of a ship, and once here.

We can retrieve the body this came from for autopsy. I have the means to do so, without being observed by the authorities.

If you find out anything before I get back, let me know. This might take a while.
