i tried scanning it with a spell
kinda got stuck stairng at it for a while
but it said "an anchor made to hold the Living Energy [The caps are, he suspects, significant, so he actually put them in for once.]
vulnerable to heat and sheering force ["Shearing", though, he just straight up couldn't remember how to spell.]
resistant to interdimensional energy"

so no one try heating it

ive been trying lightning too
it charged up for a second and the light went weird
and it smelled bad

wonder what living energy is
maybe that would turn it on

anyone else found something that might help?

Vulnerable to heat?

Does...that mean a lot of heat can help? Because, not that we went over this a few days ago? But I can start fires with a thought. And I know: No fires in space. Heard it a thousand times like i'm some kind of idiot. But I can heat things up to just before burning, too.

fair point. And as much as I’d like to try and help fix things, I’m kind of afraid of trying the wrong thing. I don’t think I’ve been here long enough to even hazard a guess of any kind.

no idea about the living energy

maybe it melts easy

the ingress used to be how people ended up hree
and the light when people show up or when we could go to those other two planets looks kinda like the light around the shrines
so i guess the resistance to interdimentonal energy is how it doesnt just end up ina nother world too

I keep thinking something to do with electricity, but I'm not entirely sold on that idea.

Thanks for saying my theory wasn't stupid. There's kind of a ridiculous gap in my education, but that's irrelevant.

At least it sounds like you were heading in the right direction. Now I'm wondering if there's something we can use instead of a spell?

I don't really play anything. Or have, like, tapes. All my music is digital and that's what I was going to use.

Yeah like on these. There isn't a media player on my A.C.E. so I that's what I use my phone for. Because I'm definitely not getting any kind of reception out here.

Most people I've talked to here are from like, a few decades before me. Or a couple centuries after. It's pretty fucking weird.
