1. Where are the aliens? The gross tentacley ones from tv.

[She'd certainly thought about it - it had been so awkward when he'd been flirting with her - but Wanda had never been able to find the words, either. It's even more compounded by the fact that her parents are dead. Erik may or may not exist powerless in her world, but the only person who would be able to confirm who her father is can't.]

Peter, my... [She stops, exhales, bites her lip. They're both not doing very well with words today.] Pietro and I knew another father but...my family is dead. I don't know if there is an Erik in my world.

[Peter's brow creases and he studies Wanda for a moment, listening with a twitch of tightness in his chest. Her family's dead? That kinda overshadows initial confusion over the name Pietro, which he counts off as part of the accent package. He doesn't really think about it until he's doing it, reaching out to touch her arm the way he's always done; palm against the back of her forearm for a touch that can linger or break off easily.]

Sorry - I'm learning there's a lot of shit I don't know. [Some with more reason than rest; how would he know about another universe's version of his sister? He doesn't want to ask more than he needs to here, either.] But I thought if breaking the news to him ever happens, I should at least check with you first to see if you're cool with it.

[She doesn't pull away - this, at least, feels right. This wasn't something she wanted to bring up right away, but Erik being here kind of makes postponing or avoiding family discussions impossible.]

It's your decision, Peter. He's your father. [Without any of the weird alternate universe nonsense, even if there is an Erik back home.] I am...not sure what to feel. But I will support you, whatever you choose.

Cool. [He still thinks it might affect her, but at least she's not against it - he still doesn't know how he's going to navigate the situation but knowing his sister's got his back is a familiar feeling. One he wasn't aware he was missing so much up until now.

He drops his hand away, lifting his brows and sucking in a slow breath through his teeth.] I don't know what I'm going to do yet, but... it's nice to see you. And with the ice broken a bit I feel like we're a little bit closer to an awkward hug. Wanna try and get it out of the way now or do it like the Amish and side-hug? Or was that Mormons? Jehovah's? Hell if I know.

[You know what? Nevermind. And without further ado, Wanda hugs him properly. None of this awkward side-hug business.]

[He wraps his arm around her in return, giving her a squeeze; slightly strange but all too familiar at the same time. So this is going to be how it is, eh. He's not all that sure what to say in reply to her at first - they're both (to his knowledge,) missing their counterparts and for that he can reply:] Same here.

It's been a while since - [He saw his sisters. He squeezes her again before pulling back.] Yeah.

[Whoops. Hiding things from any version of her brother feels awkward and wrong, and it just sort of slipped out without Wanda consciously registering it.]

Are you going to come live with us now? We can make room.

I guess? I don't wanna displace anyone, but it'd be cool to live around people I know. [AKA family.]

What's the bunking set up like? No noise after 11 kinda deal?

It used to be a lab, I think. Two until we knocked down a wall. It is not as nice as the mansion but there's room for all of us.

And if you start playing music at 11 everyone on that side will hear it.

Soooo what I'm hearing here is make sure I play good tunes after 11? [He smiles, but it's all been duly noted.]

The mansion? Like... Charles'? [Thinking homeworld overlaps, not tragically mourned locations here.]

[She only half-thinks he's joking but laughs anyway. It's not like she gets much sleep as it is.]

He started another school in a mansion on Thisavrou. We lived there for several months before we came here.

I feel like I'm always going to be juuust shy of ever getting to get comfortable in one of his mansions. One blows up, one gets lost in wacky space travel...

He really has no luck with his houses. [Poor guy.]

Apparently it happens a lot? Or at least twice, not sure if it's the same timeline. It's cool though, it could've been a lot worse than it was.
