In any case, these gifts/mutations/talents/whatever else you'd like to call them typically, in my experience, manifest in adolescence, and they tend to manifest in number of different ways. Telepathy, transportation, physical transformation...the list goes on. There are a few of us--mutants in specific--here, of course, as well as...well, a good growing number of talented people who seem to have found similar gifts in a number of ways I've never had to previously consider.
"A fair few," is about the simplest answer I can give, but yes, it's alright to ask. Having open communication about this is, I've found, one of the best things for it.
