voice!

[ It's not immediately after arriving that Anderson finally accesses the network. Out of sorts and deeply discomfited, she falls back on professionalism, as she's been trained to do, and scopes out the area first. This reconnaissance includes a brief mental skim of assorted passersby, mostly to gauge honesty and make sure this isn't an elaborate psychic-induced hallucinatory trap.

She's strong, but she's not invulnerable. She knows that's a possibility.

Except... it seems like it isn't, and she really is here, wherever 'here' is in the universe. After the two days she's spent poking around and reassuring herself of the reality of everything, though, that's not even the most incredulous part to her. ]

Looking for some information. [ Her voice is smooth, pleasant, a young woman's voice largely stripped of tone and easy to listen to. ] Someone told me there's no police here.

No judges.

How does that... work? Has anyone had experience with the intermediary system?

[ How can a place like this exist? It seems impossible to her. And just who is she, here? Who is she if not a Judge? ]

Of course.

You wouldn't be the first. Some of us are used to being pulled into another realm, but others need some time to get their footing. [He would know, considering how far back in time he hails from.

[He huffs in amusement at that.]

I wasn't at first, no. But when this is the second realm that draws you away from your home, you find there's similarities among them, regardless of the era it's placed in. So yes, I am used to it by now. [A beat.] Mostly.

It's one of the few things I can actually claim to know about.

[Said jokingly.]

It was called the Drabwurld, but Allad Daraich was the actual name. It was a land full of magic and faeries and just about anything you'd ever heard in a children's book come to life. I was taken there to assist a side in winning an age-long war, or else have all our worlds be destroyed and rebirthed by the end of time. It was an endless cycle we had hoped to break. I was there for two years before I was brought here by the Ingress.

[Humor is in his blood. If he can't figure out a situation, or wants to ease tensions, it's his go-to. The sass he can come up with can easily flow if he's in the right zone for it.]

It was. [Anderson presents a question he hasn't been asked before, though. Arno has to pause and let out a hum as he mulls over the question.] Honestly, I'm not sure. I do miss it and all those within it, but I don't know if I'd choose it over here, now. I enjoy the company I've found here as well.

[He misses his home the most, but there's still work to do here and in the Drabwurld, so he has a reason to stay.]

[He's found there are positives and negatives to everything her.]

We do, somewhat. People do end up going home, but most of the time it's not on purpose. They're here one day, then the next day they're gone. As far as I know, the Savrii haven't yet found a way to send us all home yet.

Not that we're aware of. The Savrii are trying to find our "signature" among the planets the Ingress has connected to, but they haven't discovered them yet. That's about as much as I know, personally.
