[ Social media, in Logan's firm opinion, is useless shit to him. Maybe he's too used to having been in hiding for too long, but it just feels like a bad idea to be connected to a network, even if he never uses it.

Now that he needs it....urgh, it's still a bad idea. ]

Is this thing on-

[ Yep, it totally is. His expression is flat, the scenery behind him rather nondescript- a grassy field, a stand of trees. The dark, salt-and-pepper wolverine ears peeking from his hair twitch. ]

I'm not gonna bore everyone with story time introduction bullshit or powers crap- I got a question for residents of Kauto.

You guys got an optometrist somewhere on this planet? Someone that sees humankind, not...Cthulhu alien-types or whatever else. I need a pair of readers.

That's reading glasses, if I wasn't clear. I'd like to get them pretty quick.

private to x-mansion cr

Listen up. I haven't seen anyone in the mansion volunteering to be quarantined.

So I'll do it.

[ Logan scowls. His cute animal ears go flat to his head. ]

I don't like it, but I really don't like the idea of a lot of fucking infectious vomit-blobs running around the place. If this shit's safe, anyone who stepped foot on that goddamn asteroid - and anyone who came into contact with them - better line their asses up.

It might be easier to find one of those flicker things. They correct vision by doing something to the air in front of your face. It's invisible except for a little flicker from the side.

I've seen a few of them for sale. Or there is a chance you could find an optometrist in the time district.

[Haha, oops. Wanda defaults to text a lot of the time when branching out on the network. Plain words seem less notable than a voice with a distinctive accent or a face that can be recognized or remembered -- and there's another Wanda out there, complicating things in ways that Wanda hasn't entirely figured out, but she'd rather not force the issue by attracting too much attention to that face or that voice.

Maybe Wanda's been on the run for too long, in too many places before coming here.

But she also knows the TABs have plenty of accessibility features including text to speech, and hasn't paused to wonder how easy they are to use. So without thinking it through at all, she continues to make her reply as text.]

I've seen them at one of the markets in Region 1 that's for trading semi-unique items. The sort of stuff that turns up because of the Ingress, but isn't part of any big trade arrangement.

You might try these people --

[Wanda gives a list of traders and directions to the markets they can be found at, then hesitates. Speaking of identifiable... But this is her job, so she's not allowed to do any more than hesitate. The illusion that she could be anyone is just an illusion, anyway.]

If you tell them Wanda sent you, they may give you a small discount. [And that would help Wanda improve her trading relationships, win win.]
