I’m going after the thing we saw on that security feed. My associate and I want a few people who know what they’re doing.

The goal is one or two small teams to do the dirty work, but medical personnel or anyone with experience in containing potentially biohazardous material is also appreciated. We can hunt the thing down and neutralize it, but we’d like to capture it if we can, which means we’ll need a containment method.

Might save everyone a few trips to the decontamination center if the Savrii can determine what it is and if it’s actually dangerous. If you're interested, inquire within. If I don’t know you, be prepared to talk about your skill set. We’ll compensate you for your time.

Hopefully it lives up to promise. Do we know who they are?

I know a few of them. Had some more interest than I thought, so I think I'll give Lena a team. We'll cover more ground that way.

[He's pretty sure Ana won't object to that--Tracer can handle herself. He hands his TAB over to her so that she can see some of the conversations he's having.]

Natasha Stark. Says she can build us the containment units.

Lena's a good choice.

( And one that, if things had been different, would have happened at home. They'd seen her grow -- she could do the job.

There's a little quiet as Ana scrolls and reads )

Hopefully it will hold whatever this thing is. I don't like having so little information.

Mostly throwing things at the wall to see if they stick.

[He follows that up with a shrug, because Ana is right. They don’t know what they’re dealing with, and they’re only going to find out if they manage to corner the thing, and even going to look for it could expose them all to some kind of alien biohazard disease.]

But she says she’s dealt with things like this before.

[It doesn’t seem worth it to lie, not in a situation like this where there’s nothing to gain. Jack isn’t paying them that well.]

Perhaps she'll come through.

( It wouldn't be the first time they'd been surprised by something, and here there were already other amazing things )

We could use the luck.

Would be nice.

[Because containing biohazards is decidedly above his pay grade.]

Remember when we had a whole science team to work on things like this?

[He says that with some measure of amusement--sure, they can get the job done, but he can't help remembering a time when they had a world of resources available to them.]

( Once again: where's Winston when you need him? )

Angela may be able to give some input, at the least.

( And certainly be their go to over the decontamination staff )

But having more that were knowledgeable would increase our efforts.

I'll talk to her. See if she can't give me some insight on this thing. Determine who's contaminated and who isn't.

Others may be more willing to see her too. She was brought here like them.

( No ulterior motive and no strange testing )

I would trust that she could find a solution.

If anyone can figure it out, it's her.

[Jack says that with full confidence. He's sure that whatever the Savrii have to offer, it doesn't hold a candle to Angela.]

Time will tell us what we need.

( What Angela can offer them about this, what others can help them with. Her short browse of his responses show that plenty of people have offered )

We should go out first. Find out where its gone, make a plan of response.

I have someone doing some preliminary scouting. It's a lot to search, so I'm going to see if he can't narrow it down.

I may take a look myself.

( Not because she didn't trust his source, maybe, but for something to do -- and information that they may miss )

There's a lot of ground to cover.

Start in Region Four where it was sighted.

[Seems like a logical course of action.]

Spread out from there. Hopefully we'll pick up a trail.

We should look into better comms. Ones just for us.

( Like the good old days, that couldn't connect to others unless they had one too )

[Certainly to purchase, but it might be prudent to buy the parts and rig up their own, just to be certain it's absolutely secure.]
