I’m going after the thing we saw on that security feed. My associate and I want a few people who know what they’re doing.

The goal is one or two small teams to do the dirty work, but medical personnel or anyone with experience in containing potentially biohazardous material is also appreciated. We can hunt the thing down and neutralize it, but we’d like to capture it if we can, which means we’ll need a containment method.

Might save everyone a few trips to the decontamination center if the Savrii can determine what it is and if it’s actually dangerous. If you're interested, inquire within. If I don’t know you, be prepared to talk about your skill set. We’ll compensate you for your time.

Not at all. If they're stabbing people for no reason, I want to know as much as possible.

It was during the tournament. Told them I didn't want to fight them, and that was an unacceptable answer.

Anyway, they want on board and I said I needed someone to vouch. You're the name they gave.

That's the one, and yes. I threw the fight.

I'm not actually opposed to bringing them on board, I just want to make sure they're not going to stab me again.

[There was no blaming 76 for balking at it — they looked like a child. If pushed, she wasn't sure she could fight all-out against Chara, either, even knowing what she knew.

But when presented with this conclusion, Chara had just taken advantage of the hesitation — as a weakness. Put in the context of the tournament, from a certain point of view, it made sense. But it wasn't a point of view she shared.]

Despite their sharp candor, I've actually never had a problem with them. Answers questions promptly and truthfully, turns in reports when I ask, does what needs to be done. So speaking in a professional sense, I trust them.

That said, I don't think it goes both ways.

[Which was putting it as mildly as humanly possible. Chara spent a lot of time eyeing the people around them with a look like they were trying to figure out who was mostly likely to come at them.]

[And Chara was offended because they wanted to fight anyway. He gets it, on some level, but that doesn’t mean he has to like it or agree. 76 doesn’t regret the way he handled that fight. He sort of regrets getting in the way of Chara’s knife.

Shepard, however, seems to know what she’s talking about. 76 is hesitant, but by now he trusts her word.]

That’s all I needed. They’re in, but we’ll have to keep an eye on them.

I would have done the same.

[And she means it. Chara might not have any qualms about stabbing an adult, but that didn't mean anyone had to like what they did, no matter the reasoning behind it.]
