I'm gonna make this quick as I can. Most of the people here are from somewhere else. Different universes, different ways of doing things.

But what's wrong is wrong and what's right is right.

I wasn't on the Moira when the slavers took some of us, but I heard about them after. We've visited worlds that treat people like shit because they want to. They take advantage and they hurt carelessly. So far this place hasn't been that way. Everyone is nice. [Something that makes him wary, still.] But if anyone, and I mean anyone, starts treatin' robots like they're soul-less. Worthless. Nothing. They'll have to answer to me. Same goes for anyone else, robot or otherwise.

Everyone deserves to be treated fairly, got it?

[It's not a direct threat, but it's close. He knows some people won't like it, but they can come talk to him if they don't. He doesn't like the attention this might get him, but he knows it's a point worth making. Something he knows certain people need to hear. He cuts the feed.]

I came in with a group on a ship called the Moira. Before they'd picked me up, there was an incident where some of the crew were taken by slavers. Far as I know, it was bad.

[From what Alan has seen, the locals here go through some effort to treat AI equitably, but if there's some exception, he wants to know. Especially if it's someone who's part of the crew.]

Not here. I've been told I'm paranoid, but my life has made me cautious. The Savrii might not want to hurt us, but someone coming through the Ingress might. What if the slavers come through and they don't know it?

They're the kind that don't care about kidnapping kids either. I wasn't here when this happened, so it's been a little while.

I was one of the slaves. A lot of the ones that weren't rescued there ended up being sold at the mini-colony. That place was even more exploitative than the incident you mentioned, though none of us were targets.

[Which is why he did his best to start an emancipation movement. But he doesn't know whether it had any effect in the long run, and that's an exhausting thought.]

"Slaver" incident unique in coercion of users. Not "robots".

[Not that it really matters. Rinzler can read the open feeds as well as anyone, and it's blatantly obvious the user's just trying to score points by feigning concern for its ally.]

Someone pointed out that the term robot is pretty loose and people are getting offended.
The person I'm talking about is called that, calls himself that. He's not the same as the big ones, the Cybertronians. They don't like being called that.
