[The feed turns on and a handsome teen with brown hair and hazel eyes, mildly muscular build, and a small, polite smile, appears on screen and sits back to more squarely look into the camera. It seems like he’s a natural at appearing on screen like this, composed, like this isn’t a big deal to him despite being brand new here.]

Hi there. My name is Richard Gansey III, though just “Gansey” is preferred.

[In the background is a huge open room…it looks like a warehouse. Though there are home furnishings around—he’s sitting on a bed and in the background are bookshelves full, a desk, a nightstand.]

I’d like to speak to anyone that knows where there’s a compilation of the different worlds that have been explored thus far. I’m interested in learning as much as I can. Thank you in advance to anyone willing to help me.

[Normally, Kurt's more nervous than this about greeting a stranger on the network, but Gansey is talking about something he's wondered for a while, too. Did they have anything that gave more information about the worlds or was the welcome pamphlet their only source?

The silence drags out longer than necessary, but once he notices that he hasn't responded, Kurt adjusts his position in front of the TAB and reaches to remove the hood from his head to reveal his face. Elaborately scarred cobalt skin, iridescent eyes and overly sharp canine teeth are what greet Gansey from the other side of the feed.] I'm afraid I can't offer you much help with what I know about the worlds we've explored, but I can share my enthusiasm of wanting to find something more about them?

[He offers a sheepish sort of shrug, fangs gleaming past the dark of his lips and his eyes animated with anxious excitement. Gansey looks far more comfortable than he does about appearing on a screen.]

[Gansey is about to say something when the person adjusts so they're seen in front of the TAB camera...And this is probably the most off-kilter anyone will see of Gansey who isn't in their core group of friends.

Both of his eyebrows raise, but there's no other outward sign of his surprise. Taking a couple of seconds to compose himself better, he nods, clearly pleased to find someone else that shares his thought process.]

Unfortunately, that sounds as though there won't be much help, or am I mistaken?

[Honestly, Kurt's a bit surprised that Gansey isn't freaking out over his appearance; he notices the lift in his eyebrows, but that's subtle compared to some of the reactions he's gotten.]

Oh, uhm, [he pauses, turns to look over his shoulder as if someone is there, then shakes his head and returns his attention to the camera.]

Not necessarily. There may not be much help in my case, but it's possible there are other people that might know more.

[Gansey is absurdly controlled. Even the extra time spent composing himself is rather revealing for people that know him well.]

Surely someone has been taking notes or keeping track or documentation of the kind of worlds that have been visited.

[Gansey, a researcher, is assuming a lot of people displaced from their own time and place.]

[Gansey's in luck then, since Kurt doesn't know him that well. They've only just met and all.]

Mmn, I might know someone. She was the first mate when the Moira was still around.

[His only problem is giving out names to new people without permission. Some people don't want to be found or, at the very least, don't want everyone knowing their names.]

[Awkward, he hadn't introduced himself, nor asked the other his name.]

[A brief pause, his cheeks flushing with embarrassment; he's usually a lot better at first meetings since the arrival on Thisavrou.

He might have a chance to redeem himself, though.] And your name is?
