I got the impression that it wasn't from this planet. Also, that it wasn't rare wherever it came from. And that it was the sort of animal that lives in a herd when it's alive.

Compared to arriving in yet another new place with nothing except what the inhabitants are willing to give me, finding out that I'm already here plus I might have some sort of not really relatives from alternate universes, shifting memories and everything strange and nothing for certain...
